Post by admin » Sat Jun 16, 2012 10:37 am

Update to Meteohub V4.9k (NSLU2, x86, SheevaPlug, DreamPlug, iConnect, DC01) brings these features:
  • Fixes update HTTP password bug on DC01 platform.
  • Fixes backup function on DC01 platform.
  • Fixes a bug that prevents from reading data from EM1000 energy meter on some platforms.
  • Fixes a bug that prevents from showing graphs with evapotranspiration.
  • Extends demo period until end of October 2012 or 3 month, which ever comes first.
  • Improves reading Vantage datalogger to circumvent infinite loops when internally logged data does not report valid time stamps.
  • Fixed evapotranspiration evaluation for Vantages with solar sensor.

Does it also address the 'alarm log' entries for WindFinder? I keep getting these in the log which is in my daily log email. My data is going to the WindFinder site okay, but this entry is still seen.

4.9k does not address this, but may be one of the previous updates did.
What Meteohub version are you running?

It looks like my remote access is not up. I'm away from the house for a couple of hours. I will email you when back home. Thanks!

I could drill it down to a timing problem. Will be fixed with next update.
Upload to windfinder works ok, it is just about the warning messages.

Two days ago I updated my alix server from 4.9e to 4.9k. First all looks good, but after some hours I recognized, that there is no data for the wind sensor. After some tries to reset the connection and the weatherstation, I tried to install older versions of the meteohub software.

At the end all is fine when I have gone back to version 4.9e, but after upgrading to 4.9f, 4.9h or 4.9k (no tries with g,i,j) the result is always getting no wind data.

My weatherstation is a Conrad/ELV WS444 which has a sensor for wind force but none for wind direction, which was no problem in the past (always north direction).

Please try to find the cause of this problem, so I can upgrade to one of the upcoming versions.

Many thanks for this very quick answer.

That's it! After storing the windchill temp sensor all is fine.
