Recent VMware upgraded the player to version 3. This version has a lot of new options, you can now configure which hardware the player has to use for the virtual machine, it's easy to add a USB device with this version.

BUT BE AWARE, YOUR SYSTEM ID IS CHANGING!!

So, dont forgot to wright down your ols system ID somewhere, you need it for the activation code transfer.
