What is recommended USB hub to connect a Vantage Pro to Meteobridge?
A powered or unpowered. Any particular brand or model?

The need of a USB hub has been discussed for ages on openwrt forum and this forum. It is a hw/sw problem with the underlying Atheros chipset, that does not handle USB 1.x connections well. A USB 2.0 hub translates traffic to USB 2.0 standard, which can be handled fine by the Atheros chip set inside the TP-Link HW.

When you are in Europe the Logilink Smile (https://www.amazon.de/USB-2-0-Hub-Smile ... nk+usb+hub) will do fine. In the US many go with some Belkin models.
