meteobridge gathering rainfall that is not occuring

Post by arthurpwiggle » Thu Oct 13, 2016 3:16 am

I have a Davis Vantage Vue with an airbridge kit.

I set up the airbridge yesterday and connected it to weather underground. Everything seems to be working fine except for the rainfall. For some reason, meteobridge seems to think that it is raining cats and dogs constantly. I recorded 80 inches of rainfall yesterday on meteobridge even though my weather station did not record any precipitation. I assume that this is caused by something that I set incorrectly but I can't figure out what it is. Any help?

I had this issue last year and I fixed it with a change in the "RF Sens." from the default "-90db" to a less sensitive setting of "-75db".
Sadly, however, starting today, I am having the opposite problem. It is raining cats and dogs as show on my Davis Vantage VUE console, but my airbridge (meteohub) displays "0.00in/hr"
So there are definitely issues now with the airbridge RF sensitivity with respect to recording rain correctly
I will be trying to resolve this error on a separate topic post.
