Davis 6372 with Meteostick

Post by mikeo » Fri Jan 15, 2016 2:09 am

I'm banging my head against the wall here... All my research, and a vendor recommendation, indicated that the Meteostick would be able to receive data from a Davis 6372 since it was compatible with Vantage Pro2, Weather Envoy, and Envoy8X. I've set up as seen in the attachment.

I set up the 6372 as ID2 (DIP #3 = on) and to run in test mode (DIP #4 = on); The LED is blinking every ~2 seconds.

I've only seen one data message show up on the sensors page...

I ran the firmware update http://ip_adress/cgi-bin/stickupdate.cgi and saw a "Stick successfully updated!"

Does anyone have any ideas?

Please set RF-sensitivity to -90 db, -105 db will pick up tons of noise.
