Weather Cam
I want to install a weather camera to report to Weather Underground with my Acurite and Meteobridge system. The MB network page shows a "Ubiquiti version 1.1" camera as one of two recognized options. I cannot locate that camera anywhere. For those of you running Meteobridge with an outdoor weather ...

Re: New AcuRite Platform
Boris, you will not need new hardware. If you currently have an AcuLink bridge, it will be automatically updated with new firmware.

New AcuRite Platform
Boris,
AcuRite will soon release a new website to replace the old AcuLink "My Backyard Weather." It is much more professional and a real improvement over the old one. Since I have a Meteobridge and want to continue using it after the launch of the new platform, I was wondering whether you plan to ...

I am in South Carolina, USA. I think everyone I've recommended Meteobridge to also lives in the USA.

How To Purchase Meteobridge
I have recommended Meteobridge to many people using AcuRite equipment. I know this is a stupid question, but I need a current address or method for a potential buyer to contact you in order to get started. Thanks!

Re: Using Multiple Sensors To Report To Weather Sites
I used a little 3v ac/dc converter along with a cheap Instamatic lamp timer to send 3v to the motor from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm...12 hours per day. I simply pulled the wires from the dual solar panel, ran them through the slot above the motor and hooked them to two ends of a 100' invisible dog fence ...

Using Multiple Sensors To Report To Weather Sites
Just a quick note to express appreciation for the ability to use secondary sensors to report data to weather sites. Like many AcuRite users, my main 5in1 sensor has temperature spikes in the morning and late afternoon when the aspirating fan is not working due to the sun's position in the sky ...

Re: Meteobridge Not Transmitting To WUG After Sensor Repair
Yes, it was resolved. Boris found that Meteobridge would not recognize a change in AcuRite's sensor (as I had done) and added an option in the station tab beside the AcuRite sensor option to instruct Meteobridge to "forget" the old sensor and accept the new one or, in my case, the modified one. All ...

Re: Meteobridge Not Transmitting To WUG After Sensor Repair
I tried sending data from MB to WUG again today but had the same result...other than pressure from the AcuLink bridge, no data shows up on WUG for current conditions, tables, or graphs. (Also, WeatherBug is showing 140 deg. F but that might be some sort of weird default for null values ...

Re: Meteobridge Not Transmitting To WUG After Sensor Repair
And, for what it's worth, these messages appear on the Meteobridge system page:

Re: Meteobridge Not Transmitting To WUG After Sensor Repair
The Live Data page seems to have current information from all active sensors, including the 5in1. I assume the data from that sensor is actually being sent to WUG although I am not sure. I have not turned on transmission from Meteobridge to WUG today and am just letting AcuRite's "My Backyard ...

Meteobridge Not Transmitting To WUG After Sensor Repair
I am using AcuRite's 5in1 sensor with the AcuLink bridge and Meteobridge. The system has worked extremely well for over a year. The sensor's rain gauge developed irreparable problems yesterday and I swapped the bottom half from a spare sensor with a functioning rain gauge for the one that went bad ...

Re: Acurite Internet Bridge/MeteoBridge startup sequence
When I have a router "hiccup" it usually knocks off my meteobridge and requires a restart. I unplug power to both MB and the AcuLink bridge, plug MB back in and wait for the rapid flashing to stop, then plug in the AcuLink bridge. When the blue lights flash, all is good.
