Re: tau.meteobridge.com down?
Did a little digging. It's possible the Meteobridge infrastructure is housed at a data center called Hetzner which is the last hop of a tracert to tau.meteobridge.com. Their support website shows significant infrastructure outages including network, web hosting and storage. Who knows, but this could ...

tau.meteobridge.com down? **solved**
Hello Everyone,
Just rebooted my Meteobridge and I'm getting the black landing page that the bridge cannot connect. I can ping/resolve tau.meteobridge.com and website responds with a 503 service unavailable.
Anyone else experiencing this issue today?
Thanks,
SP

Re: Extreme swings in wind speed
Hi there. It's a 1036ca1 model from Acu-Rite and is using the mandatory USB powered hub. I've been using this setup for over two years.

Re: Extreme swings in wind speed
Thanks, the speed can be off by as much as 30-50 mph. How would you suggest I validate the Acu-Rite readings?
Thanks again!
Steve

Re: Extreme swings in wind speed
Thanks for your response! It's logging data from an AcuRite via RF mated to a powered USB that plugs into an approved DLink wireless device loaded with Meteobridge.
There is nothing else logging data
Thanks

Extreme swings in wind speed
Hi there,
I have been noticing extreme wind variations being reported on my weather templates. Backtracking to Meteobridge, it does show the Max Wind Speed that is being represented on the templates.
Any thoughts on where to look/start to diagnose?
Thanks!

Re: Power Outage / Landing Page
Another question. I can SSH to the device as well. As I don't have a recent backup of the config, is there any configuration files that I could obtain from the file system to aid in re-constructing the config?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Folks,
We had a lengthy power outage last night in the Chicagoland area. Nothing new. I've had my Meteobridge survive many a power cycle. However it's not coming up today. Below is the stack return.
I get into WRT and can ping meteobridge just fine. I'd rather not go thru setup again if I can ...

Acu-Rite 1035
Married up to DLink Meteobridge. All value's appear accurate except for indoor humidity. 30% all across the board for the past 12 months, however the Acu-rite system shows other figures/statistics.

Re: Troubles....many troubles....
Yes, in two ways:
Statically assigned an IP address, subnet, gateway and DNS server.
Let DHCP assign the above.
In each case, the DNS server reverts to 127.0.0.1....which from what I ready is "normal"

Hello there. I will start with the first.
