With respect to Meteobridge and build 11364, it has now worked correctly over four days with rain where it had been failing consistently to report the first count, so that looks like a fix!
It makes me very happy!

Re: Rain accum misses first count
This issue could be reproduced on envoy8x systems and is now fixed for those.
It will work for all weather stations that reset rain counter back to zero each new day. Normally the raincounter is a rolling number neven been reset. But envoy8x behaves different. I can't say if other stations might ...

Re: Minimizing bandwidth/data volume
Without knowing the extent of your upload format and/or interval, can you cut the upload interval down at all or trim/re-organize the format in any way?
I'm just using the WMR200 upload to Weather Underground (sorry, should have said).
I'm astonished at the verbosity of the WU message format ...

Minimizing bandwidth/data volume
I have an MB installed at a remote site, using a mobile broadband USB device. The plan I am on gives me 100MB for a very low cost, but then I must pay for another 1GB if I go over the 100MB!
As I end up most months using about 120MB, I was wondering if there is a way to minimise the data volume. I ...

Re: Rain accum misses first count
Interesting, so you say it is a WMR200 only bug? That explains why I does not see it with my test rig.
Well, all I can say is that I see it on that site, and not the other. I presume there are some differences in the exact details of how the various consoles communicate (even from the same ...

Re: Rain accum misses first count
It is strange. I have not posted for a while because the problem seems to have resolved itself. I am running the May 1 version at the moment.
Good luck!

Re: Rain accum misses first count
Well, it's been raining over the last week and the same problem occurs. If there is one count in a upload period the first one is counted for Rate purposes, but does not get counted in Accumulated.
Big rainfalls seem to work fine.
Today it was even worse, with slow rain showing a rainfall rate three ...

The station is a WMR88, with a USB hub to convert.

Re: Missing data on WU, one sensor.
I've been updateing on reboot, so it is quite up to date. The last time was on friday. Today it has been fine all day, but yesterday was more typical.

Re: Missing data on WU, one sensor.
I visited on site for a while yesterday, and I can always see a temperature figure on the console (and in the MB "Live Data"), but none gets uploaded, sometimes for hours at a time??

Missing data on WU, one sensor.
I realise this may not be an MB issue, but it did get better after a reboot.

After your earlier messages I cleared the stored data from the WMR200, but this morning I had the same trouble. Is that what you meant?lorenz1982 wrote:Not delete the rain from the station. So it works.

Re: Rain accum misses first count
It happened again this morning...
The interesting thing is that it seems to happen when there is only one count in the first upload period (10min).
