So just to confirm - the NANO acts like both a Meteobridge for uploads to networks AND, at the same time, acts like a data logger for my computer program (WeatherCat) to see the Davis station data? If so, I want one of these now!
Ok, thank you for clearing that up. A data logger is required with the MBP just like the MB. That makes sense, I was just hoping the data logger wasn't necessary with the MBP + Ethernet Lan.
I currently use WeatherCat with a Meteobridge and it is fantastic! I just purchased the Meteobridge Pro, however, and cannot get WeatheCat to see/use it.
I only use ethernet and static LAN IP addresses. What works is to tell WeatherCat to use the Meteobridge IP of 10.0.5.160 and all is well ...
I have a Davis Pro2 Plus Wireless running two sites. The main site is populated with WeatherCat software for the Mac and its sister site is run by the Meteobridge via the Saratoga Templates.
