Re: Meteobridge remote access via port forwarding?

I just rebooted the modem and router and I can now access the Meteobridge url. No idea why as everything else was working ok.

Still can't login remotely using port forward.

Re: Meteobridge remote access via port forwarding?

It is a wireless Asus Rt-N56U but the TP Link MR3020 is hard wired to the router using a fixed IP.
The router can be accessed remotely using it's public IP but I use DDNS just in case the IP changes. I can access several webcams remotely using port forwarding.
Port forward is setup with the ...

Re: Meteobridge remote access via port forwarding?

Thanks for the reply.
I tried what you suggested with port forwarding but could not access the Meteobridge with a port number added to the ip either locally or on the internet.(192.168.0.150:8081) or(http://yourpublic ip:8081) I can access it locally via http://192.168.0.150
I think that the port ...

Meteobridge remote access via port forwarding?

I know you can access the Meteobridge via their server (currently down for me) but how do you setup a port forward in the router to accomplish the same thing?
DDNS is setup and my Meteobridge is on a fixed IP but what port number do I use?

Thanks

Re: Changing MR3020 to a fixed IP

Most routers have a DHCP IP list of what device is connected. That is the easiest way of determining what IP has been issued.

I started off using a wired connection and a dynamic IP without any problems. Last week I switched to a static IP. I have not used wireless as the routers are beside each ...

Re: Meteobridge/Saratoga template upload problem

Well I feel a little sheepish but relieved.
When I put MBtags.php into #01 I somehow added two blank spaces behind ".php" which changed the extension name to ".php " This was the reason I had 2 copies of the file on the website but they both looked the same as you can't see the 2 extra characters ...

Meteobridge/Saratoga template upload problem **solved**

I have just started using my new Meteobridge, Live data is OK. Uploads to the website home page appear to be complete.
MBtags.php, MBrealtime.txt and MBrealtimegauges.txt are on server and current.
Note: there are two MBtags.php, one the original 2013 version and the 2nd is the current up-to-date ...
