Re: Current Cost energy monitor
Let us know the results when you get the Envi R. I'm going to try and write a litle prog for the Arduino that reads the flashing LED (1000 flashes per KWH)on the generation meter

Re: Current Cost energy monitor
Interesting, I thought the night readings where high and spent ages trying to track down what might be causing it. I knew about the PF inaccuracies of cheap current clamps but never really thought about it. MY metering is of course much more screwed up as of last week as I've now got 3KW of PV on ...

Re: CSV ftp upload
Quick update, with the chaps support here I now have this working and can post all sorts of sensors from Meteoplug to Pachube at will. To be accurate, Pachube calls the created report and gets the data. Really useful..... Mike

Re: Current Cost energy monitor
For anybody thinking about using the CC128 with Meteohub, it works really well, is easy to set up and with Meteohub as well you can create all sorts of interesting analysis. You can even then send data to Pachube to switch things on and off based on the data if you connect to Pachube with something ...

Boris has now fixed the problem, some ajustments in the logging code. I expect it will get included in one of the next releases.

Re: LEAF Wetness/Soil Moisture/Soil Temp
So, did a little work with the Davis chap and he helped me select the the LEAF WET sensors on the config page of Weatherlink which I've not used for over a year. Once done he then directed me to the text bulletin report which I attach. He advises that the 'Current' column of the report uses the loop ...

Re: LEAF Wetness/Soil Moisture/Soil Temp
Getting somewhere now. e-mailed Davis and they mentioned that if all was well I'd see the Leaf Wetness inteh 'Bulletin' report of Weatherlink. So disconnected from Meteohub and hooked the Vantage Pro 2 up to a PC with the latest version of Weatherlink loaded. Donloaded the data and heh, no Leaf ...

Re: LEAF Wetness/Soil Moisture/Soil Temp
Many thanks, that's exactly what I expected to happen but no joy. I assigned 'station 2' to the Leaf/Wetness. What firmware do you have on your Vantage Pro 2. I have V 1.82 (EU), the latest is V 1.89 so I'll upgrade and see if that fixes it?
THanks for input..... Mike

Re: LEAF Wetness/Soil Moisture/Soil Temp
That is indeed what I was after but still no joy. I can see the leaf wetness sensor readout on the LCD of my Vantage Pro but somehow the data is not being sent to Meteohub. Just wonder if I repower the Vantage Pro 2 that might do it? How did you work out it was th2 btw?

LEAF Wetness/Soil Moisture/Soil Temp
Does anybody know what the three sensors above are mapped to on Meteohub? I've only got two leaf sensors so far but I do not know what they appear as in the senor lists on Meteohub. Could somebody please advise?

Re: CSV ftp upload
Did you get this working, I've been trying to achieve this for ages so I can switch devices on and off at home based on data values received from Meteoplug to Pachube and then back to my house via and Arduino?

Re:Current Cost energy monitor
That is part of the answer. The reason I like Pachube like Wunderground is that the graphs are already available and you are essentially just loading data into them. I've never got to grips with the graphing side of Meteohub. I've just not got the time adn it seems really difficult. I'd laso then ...

Re:Current Cost energy monitor
I've now got my CC128 connected to my AlIX 1.D as well as my Vantage Pro. One interesting point of note is that my Vantage Pro was assigned device dev/tty/USB0 and thus I assigned dev/tty/USB1 to the CC128. When I rebooted, all went wrong. The AlIX1.D seemed to look for the CC128 on USB0 and the ...
