Re: Nano SD locking up

The easiest way to upgrade the power supply without having to do any wiring is to purchase the Davis 6627 USB to Davis Plug Power Cord and a 3 to 4 Amp USB Power Supply. It’s just plug & play.

Re: Nano SD locking up

Not sure if this may be your problem. From the forum.

Newvocore2.pngMeteobridge NANO: adds TX power boost mode for the new batch of NANOs (left picture, with a red strap instead of a black strap). This option makes use of the better RF power emission of the new batch of VoCore2 modules. Please be ...

Re: Davis Konsole 6313 and Meteobridge

From my reading of the 6313 manual I do not believe it is designed to transmit data to any place other than the WLL Cloud. Transmitting data from a console to another device like Meteobridge appears to require a Data Logger or Weatherplug transmitter, neither of which are compatible with the 6313 ...

Will the Built in Nano Weather34 Dashboard Forecast API be Updated

Since the Dark Sky API used by the built in Nano Weather34 Dashboard for the weather forecast has been discontinued with the purchase of Dark Sky by Apple so that the weather forecast on the dashboard is no longer working, are there any plans to replace the Dark Sky API with another to get the ...

Re: Advice on Davis Vantage Weather Station for MBPRO

The Pro 2 will work almost exactly the same as did the Vantage Vue. Just a more advanced weather station and console.

Re: Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible. **solved**

My two Nanos work fine on my ASUS mesh router but only if I use separate Network names for my 2.4GHz and 5Ghz networks. Apparently, there are many 2.4Ghz only WiFi devices such as printers and wi Fi enabled cameras that will not connect to a mesh system using a unified network name.

Re: Where to purchase PRO2 from USA?

My apologies. I misread the description of the power socket on the website. As the power requirements are even less than the Pro, any 3 amp USB to micro power supply should be more than adequate.

Re: Where to purchase PRO2 from USA?

The only authorized US reseller is Ambient Weather which does not list the Pro2. Just the Pro , which is called Weatherbridge. They may be offering it soon as the Pro 1 is no longer in production. You might contact them to find out. support@AmbientWeather.com or phone (480) 346-3380.
If you don’t ...

Re: Problem: can't open device /dev/ttyMH

Boris is the developer of Meteobridge and the administrator of this Forum. His email address is info@meteobridge.com. He will probably ask you to give him remote access to your Meteobridge to diagnose the problem if it is accessible from the web. If not, it is probably a hardware issue.

Follow these instructions to get a new activation code:

Make sure you copy down both the Old and New Activation Codes and System ID’s carefully as without them you will not be able to reactivate your Meteohub RPi and will have to email Boris to get a ...

Re: Ways to connect Meteobridge RPI to a Weather station

I don’t know the answer to your question. As far as the cost, you might be able to find a used Davis Logger on eBay for much less cost. In fact, there is a Davis USB data logger on eBay now ( compatible with your Vantage Pro2 plus ) for $65 CAD ( Canadian ). It’s listed as “as is” and only shipped ...

Re: Ways to connect Meteobridge RPI to a Weather station

I believe the only way to get the data directly from the Vantage Pro 2 plus Into your RPi is to install a Davis data logger ( either USB or Ethernet ) into your Console. The logger would then connect directly to your RPi using the a USB or Ethernet cable.

Re: meteohub to meteobridge

If your question is whether you can import your old data from your meteohub into a new Meteobridge, the answer is yes, but only if you purchase either a Meteobridge Pro or Meteobridge Nano SD ( which requires a Davis Vantage Pro 2 Weather Station for the installation of the Nano SD )
Here are the ...

Re: Beginner can't get meteobridge-rpi4-v1.3 card to boot

Sorry about that. Why don’t you give Weewx a try. It’s available on Github and is free though it’s not just a plug & play like Meteobridge.
Another suggestion would be to get the 3.5 Amp power supply from Amazon. Since you managed to get your RPi to boot up once with your current power supply it ...
