Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

Yes it will keep working but if you need to readd/remove sensors you won’t (likely) be able to since this is all done on MyAcuRite.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

bubba123 - thanks for the response! The first link seems to be talking about a lightning detector, am I missing something? Maybe it's the wrong link? So what exactly do you have for your setup? You said that you have the Access to send data to Acurite, but using the SDR to send data (minus the pres...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

bubba123, hi. I have seen some generic/incomplete articles on setting up an SDR to replace the hub. Also, did you also get the pressure to work too? If you got something to work that doesn't require me to keep my computer running and does send the data through to the Meteobridge, can you please sha...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

I ended up getting a SDR usb drive and pulling the data for Acurite from the air. I just wish Meteobridge supported ingest from SDR so I wouldn’t have to futz with Weewx :(. At least this way I’m not supporting Acurite or their services.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

I’m planning on unboxing my Access this weekend and deploy Acuparse on an extra Rpi. I’d like to stay with Meteobridge as it gives me more options, but using the acurite app is a must, and I believe he only way to get that is for Meteobridge to support the SSL MitM method used in Acuparse.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

I'd like to know as well. I'm due for my 2 years of support, and if Acurite Access or continued use of Hub was in the plan, I'd be more apt to continue with Meteobridge. Only issue is I'd also like to continue to use the Acurite app.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

Any updates on viability of using the Acurite Access? Mine is still in a box, but considering I do look at their GUI on iOS, I assume I'll have to move at some point. My license is up on Meteobridge, but I'd be glad to renew if Access support is still in the works.

Thanks!

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge

My concern is that even if we can get the data out of the SmartHUB, we still have to have a way to manage the sensors connected to it. Without official support, I'm not sure how one would do this. It does appear that acuparse (https://github.com/acuparse/acuparse/issues/26) will send the data from t...
