Re: Twitter upload issue

Hello,

There is in your account on Twitter an extra option for using automated tweets. They wanna know who’s behind the automated tweets as organization. I think that has to do with all kind of bots and other automated garbage. There is an article on Twitter Help: https://help.twitter.com/en/using ...

Re: Calibrating rain at the Vue Console or MB Nano

   By checking the manual again, it’s written loud and clear on page 28; OMG I have to see the optometrist  and let him check my eyes again
Sorry for all my questions Galfert, but your link to the manual helped because it forced me to check again.

Problem solved ...

Re: Calibrating rain at the Vue Console or MB Nano

Thanks Galfert for your extensive answer at my question, appreciate that very much.

I forgot to mention that my console is a Vue but my station outside is Davis VP2 pro. I’ve earlier tried to find a possibility to make adjustments at the Vue console with the manual at hand, but the only thing a can ...

Calibrating rain at the Vue Console or MB Nano

Hello Matt,

Can you tell me if there’s a possibility to calibrate the rain measuring on the Vantage Vue console (mm). I’m following the last few weeks the measuring on the Vue (and MB Nano SD) and that’s 10% less then the official rain measured in my German Prof. Hellmann :D That doesn’t seems much ...

Losing RF connection VP2 with MBpro

Since a few weeks I’ve got a new Davis VP2 ISS in the garden and a Windsensor on the roof. I’m using now 2 Vantage Vue displays, one with a NanoSD for Twitterfeeds and W34 template (not redirected, but RF both) and 1 just to watch. And a MBpro wich is feeding my website. Since a few days my MBpro is ...

Re: Davis Vantage Vue display stopped ET values

I think I found the problem. Before putting the Nano SD in the display all power must be cancelled, also the batteries have to be removed
Then the Vantage Vue seems not only reset the time, but also set ISS #ID to standard ISS VUE instead of the earlier setting ISS VP2.
With the setting ISS VUE ...

Davis Vantage Vue display stopped ET values

I’ve noticed today that, since I installed my MB Nano SD in my Davis Vantage Vue display this weekend, it doesn’t show ET values onscreen anymore.
Also the solar radiation isn’t onscreen anymore and when I want to choose this ET option a fault signal sounds.
Is that normal that I loose this function ...

Switching data from MBpro to MB Nano SD

I've bought and installed a new MB Nano SD today and I would like to ask at this forum:
Is there a simple way to get my MBpro data to my MB Nano SD without the necessary knowledge of complicated IT stuff :(
In the last hour I've read a lot of topics on this forum, but it's all a bit complicated for ...

Correction wind direction and tweets **solved**

Since I’ve bought and installed my new Davis VP2, I had to make wind direction corrections in my MBpro because the position of the anemometer on my roof couldn’t be positioned in the “normal” way. I’ve made those corrections just like my Davis Vantage Display did; -138º (minus)
Then I noticed that ...

Re: Evapotranspiration on Twitter

Simon,
The website I’m using is hosted by someone else in Holland. He made it possible for technical #@@!!? like me to easily get access with a MBpro and put it on the web. I’m not in the position to make layout changes. That’s why I want a website of my own someday; but as a told you: I’m not ...

Re: Evapotranspiration on Twitter

Thanis for your reply Simon, but I have to buy a MB Nano SD first :D This string won’t work with a MBpro.
BTW, Love your website man, beautiful black gauches.............. Wish I was more technical, I’d made one just like that #jealous :D :D :D

Re: Evapotranspiration on Twitter

Appreciate the effort you’ve made Matt, thanks man. I understand; finally (it took a while :) ) so it’s no option for me now, because I like the configuration wireless as it is.
Will it changes anything when I switch to MB Nano SD instead of the MBpro, or doesn’t that make any difference (I thought ...

Re: Evapotranspiration on Twitter

Oke, got that. Very complicated stuff :D
So the string [sol0evo] cannot be used in my configuration.
But in the templates for Meteobridge used with Davis, there is a [sol0evo] mentioned; when are those variables appearing then, what do I need more to get a number in mm so I can use it for an ...

Re: Evapotranspiration on Twitter

Hi Matt, thanks for your reaction. So if I understand you, and correct me if I’m wrong, I can’t use the ET in my current configuration? But if the ISS VP2 those ET values provide and my Davis Vue console is picking them up, so can the MBpro ? That’s not different from all the other values from the ...
