Re: Added support for more sensors on the discontinued Accurite smart hub
Thanks for replying, we are still stuck with the same problem as Meteobridge does not emulate the server response needed for the smart hub to work, Maybe this will implemented in a near future, thanks for the info, i will still follow up, and in the mean time, i will continue using Accuparse on my ...

Re: Added support for more sensors on the discontinued Accurite smart hub
Hi Joe002,
Did i read correctly, Meteobridge still suported on the old smarthub, does it mean that meteobridge will work if i upgrade to V 4.0, if this true i will consider upgrading, i do not mind paying if Meteobridge does work with v4.0, i am still using Acuparse but i will switch to Meteobridge ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Thanks again for the info, i will try again with a hub instead of a switch, i might have a old hub somewhere at home, yes you are right, a hub is not smart and does send all data to all ports, this may work for Meteobridge, i will try to find or get a hub for testing this setup, it is wort a try for ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Thanks for spending some time to reply to me, i did try to leave the smarthub connected to Meteobridge and use Acuparse as a replacement for the now dead hubapi.myacurite.com, the build in dnsmasq in Raspbian only work from ethernet port of the Raspberry pi, i do have a dnsmasq on my Asus Rt-AX88U ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
The instructions from acuparse was made for a setup with the Smarthub and the Raspberry Pi, The Raspberry has only one Ethernet port and build in Wifi, and communicate to to network using the wifi connection, i will have to try to use a network switch to connect both the smarthub and the meteobridge ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
There is only the Barometric pressure Offset adjusment possible with Acuparse, it does not send the peak wind speed to WU and it is not Rapidfire, it update every minutes instead of every 15 second, Meteobridge has more features and it send data every 15 seconds to WU, it also support more Weather ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
I got my smarthub working with acuparse by following the instructions from this link https://github.com/acuparse/acuparse/wiki/Installation-on-Raspberry-Pi , it is working well to send weather data to Weather Underground and CWOP, this system is not using Meteobridge as the smarthub is connected ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Thanks Joe002, i did try to have something working for the Smarthub on my side, but i was not able to make it work, i setup a local DNS server on my local network and i try to setup a computer with Xammp and some scripts in the web folder, but i do not have any experience with PHP scripts and ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Mine is dead too, WU change or remove connectivity with the smarthub, i will watch it for the next couple of day, i do not expect anything as this point because WU does not want to receive any data from the smarthub anymore, and i think we all have to look into another solution for sending data to ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
I believe the result with be the same with Meteobridge connected to the Smarthub if someone push the reset button underneat the Smarthub, Meteobridge need the Smarthub to talk to a service to continue functioning, it will be good to know if it still work after a Smarthub reset. It will be nice if ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
i now start to understand the mistery about the Smarthub, most Smarthub are still functionning until now, and this is with or without Meteobridge connected to them, i appear that sending data to weather Underground is done from the smarthub is this keep the Smarthub Alive despite My acurite been ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
It is working again, there was a DNS name server problem at my ISP, everything work fine now, it does need something at the other end to talk or reply for the smarthub to work, let see how long this will last (:

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Look like it does not work anymore, the smarthub stop sendind data at 7:39pm Eastern time, everything is down here, they must have shutdown the domain name and now the Smarthub is dead, i will not buy anything from them anymore, i a most likely not alone having lost connectivity whith the smarthub ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
This is good news WKS, well we have confirmation that the SmartHub is usable without Acurite support and server, Glad to find this out, Meteobridge will allow continuous use of a device that will be otherwise a door step without Meteobridge, this is the best outcome possible considering that Acurite ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
This look good if the SmartHub is able to relink a sensor alone without the Myacurite server, maybe registering sensor was needed only for the Myacurite account and Meteobrige will simply add any sensor seen in his reach, this is good news for us with the meteobridge setup, look like the Smarthub is ...
