You may be correct, but it is my understanding that the SmartHub requires an acknowledgement to continue sending data. Currently, (and I could be wrong), I don't think the Meteobridge sends any acknowledgement, but Weather Underground does (did?).
Regardless, I sent an e-mail to WU asking if they ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Mine quit working today around noon also. Weather Underground has been changing their website lately - I wonder if they have stopped sending the acknowledgement that the SmartHub requires.
I did a quick look but don't see (yet) how to contact WU to see if that is the case.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Ok. For those without a Meteobridge, pressing the SmartHub reset/register button is a really bad thing.
Has anybody inadvertently pressed the button with a Meteobridge installed? Can the SmartHub recover in that case?

Mine is still working also. Did everything possible to try and break it (except add another sensor) before buying the licence.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Decided to go for the Full Monty and reset my Meteobridge back to the default configuration (hold the reset button until factory defaults restored) and rebuild from scratch.
Success! All sensors reporting and uploading to WU & PWS!
Now I'm convinced we are winning.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
I did some playing around today with my Meteobridge (D-Link DIR-505)/SmartHub setup. There are only two AcuRite 06002RM Temperature/Humidity Sensors in my configuration (indoor and outdoor).
I removed the batteries from the indoor sensor, unlinked the sensors, saved, and then did a reboot. Only the ...

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Not being a lawyer, I can only offer an opinion. I don't think it would be wise for Acurite to try and brick the SmartHub.

Re: Continued use of AcuRite SmartHUB with Meteobridge
Hi All. I am new to this forum and am still on my 14 day trial of the meteobridge firmware on a D-Link DIR-505 connected to the now infamous Acurite SmartHub. I have to make up my mind in the next few days whether to licence the meteobridge (preferred) or upgrade to the new Access (not at all ...
