The energy misunderstanding is probably a translation issue. They probably meant frequency as in occurrence, but it ended up as energy when translated.

Re: Meteobridge-GW1000 no lightning data recognized by MB
Had a decent amount of lightning the past couple of days. I even had a small storm roll through today and ecowitt.net reports https://i.imgur.com/QABum2R.png
The only information present on the meteobridge live data tab is the last recorded strike and info. I get no historical data, so I do not ...

Re: Meteobridge-GW1000 no lightning data recognized by MB
I have to agree that the meteobridge is not logging correctly. I finally got it to display a strike, but if I run a template with:
[lgt0total-ymax:--]
it just gives --, it should at least report 1 strike for the year. I have also tried the others and no results.
I even tried:
[DD]/[MM]/[YYYY ...

Re: Meteobridge canot update Weather Underground
I went through my preset list and none made a difference so it looks like for now, if I want WU updates, I have to leave DoT off. it is definately some issue between their DNS and the meteobridge when DoT is enabled.

Re: Meteobridge canot update Weather Underground
I had an AHA moment while making my lunch, and I found the cause but not a solution.
I remembered around the time it stopped working I had turned on DoT (DNS-over-TLS) on my router and enabled a function that disabled client auto DoH (DNS-over-HTTPS) (so firefox doesnt ignore my custom/local dns ...

Re: Meteobridge canot update Weather Underground
Weirdly enough, while I was researching and building this post, one single blip of data came through, so I tried restarting my meteobridge again but no luck, this is just a really weird problem that must be unique to me because I see no other posts about WU issues recently.

Meteobridge canot update Weather Underground
I was checking on my setup today and I noticed my Weather Underground data was empty, checking back it seems to have stopped receiving data at around 7pm EDT on june 11th. When I logged into my meteobridge and checked the live data tab it reports this error:

Re: Meteobridge-GW1000 no lightning data recognized by MB
I am curious of the status of this. I just got the ecowitt detector and I noticed the same. I waited until ecowitt.net showed an event in cause the meteobridge just didnt show when no data was avail. I agree it seems it is not recording the sensor data.

Odd, no-critical issue
I was working with my network setup today and removed the fixed ip from my dhcp server (I have the meteobridge working by name just fine.) When I did this the gw1000 went back to its default name of ESP_{MAC tail} instead of what I had previously called it. If used that name in the meteobridge it ...

Re: Rain not being reported with Ecowitt GW-1000 and Meteobridge.
All your times are getting long, usually there is not more than a couple of minutes between device reports. I would try restarting your meteobridge and checking what it says on the system tab under messages. I have noticed that sometimes the datalogger fails and I have use the nodatareboot script to ...

Re: Ecowitt Low Battery Icons
I wanted to post a followup as I asked ecowitt about he zero values I was seeing, the WH31B and WH65 do not report battery level, just battery low, so 0 means the battery is good a 1 would mean the low batt indicator is on. Didn't know if that matches up with the method meteobridge uses to talk to ...

Re: Ecowitt Low Battery Icons
I have been grabbing the ecowitt data with my Home Assistant install and I noticed that the wh65, batt1, and batt2 all report a value of zero. (i have to standalone T&H sensors, and I think the GW1000 thinks my array is the WH65 though it is an ambient weather osprey). my PM25 does report a value ...

Re: Feature Request: HTTP Post support.
Not for weather networks, but for the add-on push services. All I am interested in is the ability to specify a POST request instead of a GET request with the HTTP push service. A lot of software and sites (i.e. home assistant, discord, IFTTT, github, etc) now support using web hooks, which are ...

Feature Request: HTTP Post support.
Would it be possible to add the ability for the HTTP push service to use POST as well. This would allow the meteobridge to participate in webhooks, as that spec requires post support. Bonus points for allowing to template the post message, but just supporting an empty post message and using the ...

Re: GW1000 connectivity issues **solved**
Now that you mention it, i did notice that my AQ sensor moved to slot #2 in ws view, though nothing is on #1 so I don't know why it did that. Well at least the issue is solved. Thanks again.
