Re: MB Pro Red hanging about once amonth
Today a similar hang-up. Now it took longer than a month. No longer updates, a black screen with two white frozen vertical stripes. And the top red led flashing slow & irregular. A Wifi repeater in plain sight at 3 meters. No change when plugging in an active network cable. No reaction to pressing ...

Re: MB Pro Red hanging about once amonth
Thanks for stepping in.
To answer your questions: the MB Red is connected via WiFi, a static IP and has a Fritz repeater in plain sight at about 3 meter.
The problem is not same time each month. Last 3 events were 3-01-2026 17:00 h, 4-12-2025 05:00 h and 15-10-2025 07:00 h.

MB Pro Red hanging about once amonth
Since last half year my Pro Red gets stuck, currently about once a month. Uploads are no longer sent, Wifi is lost, screen is dark and the upper led is blinking irregular in a low frequency. Like it's sending a kind of morse code. Pressing the pinhole button does not yield any reaction, holding it ...

Re: Occasional rainfall anomalies
Funny enough, I noted my MB had recorded also 25.6 mm of rain, but for November 3rd around noon. While Weatherlink / Envoy had captured none. Also neighbouring stations recorded nothing that day.
And also Wind0Wind recorded a max spike during the same hour of 10.4 m/s, while the rest of the day the ...

Solarmax definition?
In MB Wiki there's a system variable called "solarmax" and described as "maximum possible solar radiation on that day at that point of the earth. Needs latitude and longitude set and pressure data available."

Re: MB Pro2: AS 3935 Lightning detector
SwitchDoc labs has offered for a while an AS3935 board for hooking up to a Raspberry Pi. To get a flavor for hardware & software, see their project site: https://www.switchdoc.com/2017/12/tutorial-building-an-iot-lightning-detector-with-your-raspberry-pi-part-1/ and 4 more tutorials. Translation error in Dutch 2 month timebase options for charts
When using the Dutch version of Meteobridge 5.8 (Mar 1 2024, build 15185), FW 1.4, there's a translation error in the name for the two month time base. It should be called "afgelopen 2 maanden [uur]" but it's currently presented as "afgelopen 2 dagen [uur]" Same problem exists for the [dag] en [mnd ...

Re: How to plot UV-max instead of UV-avg in allinone-iso.chart?
Thanks Gyvate for pointing to that line: "#METEOBRIDGE#DATA". I completely missed that as data source. (
blame the small laptop screen...)
Changing the selector as suggested by Mattk worked.
Thanks again for the quick help!

How to plot UV-max instead of UV-avg in allinone-iso.chart?
I'm using the allinone-iso.chart to plot data for year period. All data seem to represent day-averages. Which is logical for most parameters over such long period. But for UV-index it's not that relevant. I would prefer to see the maximum UV-index of the day. How to change that?

Re: [rain0total-sum24h] no longer working
Last Thursday (11-01-2024) "-raintotal-sum12h" was still not working, but the day after it suddenly did while I hadn't touched it. And "-raintotal-sum24h" also appeared to work. And still is. I have no clue on what is different or changed to make it work again.

Re: [rain0total-sum24h] no longer working
"-Daysum" would give the number since 00:00 h today, if I'm reading the MB Wiki correct. I'm looking for the total of past 24 hrs. But since I was changing the selector anyway, I played with different timeframes, starting with 60 minutes. This worked up to "-sum11h". The "-sum12h" timeframe gave ...

[rain0total-sum24h] no longer working
Recently I noted one of the MB-Pro sensor data uploads is no longer working. I'm using [rain0total-sum24h] to get the rainsum over last 24 hours, but the upload now shows this text: "[rain0total-sum24h]" instead of a number of mm's rain.
Other readings still work fine, like:

Re: Recording gaps when the WLAN fails
Today it happened again. WiFi got down due to unforeseen fibernetwork repair started during the night. I properly shut down the MB Red thru pinhole button in the morning to connect it to a different ADSL based WiFi network. Once up and running all data appeared lost for the period between fiber WiFi ...

Re: Recording gaps when the WLAN fails
I have an MB-red running and recall it happened to me as well in the past. Wifi not operating or wifi connection lost for a while and no MB data recording for that period in hindsight.
