I could still access the MB Red and check all tabs, but there was no data coming in. So it looks like no RF reception. But the brandnew MB Black is showing same problem at different time.

Remarkably those messages also appear in the logfile for the MB-Black I've running in parallel. But for different times.

I used it with my MB Red to try spotting where the hourly CPU-% spiking came from. But even with network disabled the spiking continued.

End of May the frequency of the hang-up trouble went up and getting sick of weather services reporting my station was offline and instead of doing a full erase and a clean build of the MB-Red, I took a bold step and ordered a new MB-Black. Yes that did hurt, but was on my long-term wish list anyway ...

I'm glad to see my MB is not a sole case, but regret you have similar issues. It's very annoying because data isn't captured and uploads fail. I'm looking at some MB Pro2 screens and note that Data sent & -received are not available in the database and not available for a graph. Is that a setting that needs to be changend, or have the two signals data19num or data20num been dropped from the database?

With cable connection to router it took longer, but today the MB got stuck again. Same issue, no response to pressing the pinhole button and only way out is power unplugging. The upload to Awekas stopped around 08:23 h. Last hourly data recorded was 06:00 h and the per minute data chart doesn't show ...

The ethernet cable was already in use by a small server running at the same place in the attic.

To answer the questions:
1) Does it stop uploading? - Yes weather services like AWEKAS notify me the MB has stopped.
2) Can you still login to the GUI? - No, my router indicates there's no longer an active connection.
3) Do screen saver vertical bars on display still move? - No the bars appear ...

To answer your questions: the MB Red is connected via WiFi, a static IP and has a Fritz repeater in plain sight at about 3 meter.
The problem is not same time each month. Last 3 events were 3-01-2026 17:00 h, 4-12-2025 05:00 h and 15-10-2025 07:00 h.

Funny enough, I noted my MB had recorded also 25.6 mm of rain, but for November 3rd around noon. While Weatherlink / Envoy had captured none. Also neighbouring stations recorded nothing that day.

In MB Wiki there's a system variable called "solarmax" and described as "maximum possible solar radiation on that day at that point of the earth. Needs latitude and longitude set and pressure data available."
