Re: MB Pro2 not showing up in Windows Network list

it has nothing to do with the Windows version - of course SMBv1 needs to be enabled in the Windows features
If there is more than one share named METEOBRIDGE in the same network (subnet), only one will be possible to be shown. Which one is undefined.
If you have e.g. two MB installations active at ...

feature proposal - introduce a compression option for backup files on a RaspberryPi like with MB VM

just realized that I posted this request in the Meteohub Hardware section
that's probably a better place here

I am admittedly an extensive user of the Meteobridge infrastructure, running, apart from 2 MB Pro with large storage extention, a MB on RPi4B / 2GB and a MB VM 128 GB installation ...

Re: RPI 4 Softeare

This sounds like a RPi4 issue.
Maybe you
a) provide a picture of the message so we can see the context
b) have to upgrade the BIOS of your RPi4 --> Google

just saw that the original post seems to be very old ...

feature proposal - introduce a compression option for backup files on a RaspberryPi like with MB VM

I am admittedly an extensive user of the Meteobridge infrastructure, running, apart from 2 MB Pro with large storage extention, a MB on RPi4B / 2GB and a MB VM 128 GB installation.
The size of my MB database is meanwhile ~13 GB of storage which not only means the need for sufficient external backup ...

Re: Connection between meterobridge and meteotemplate

potentially two (or combined) issues:
1. internet access issues out of Meteobridge and your control
2. issues with the Meteobridge template for Meteotemplate
(I use my own http request for my MT post because the inbuilt template is not complete and Boris doesn't want to change anything before he ...

Re: MB VM - database malformed after repeated restore from RPi database

:D
You can easily help yourself by reducing to the records within an selected time frame by running this on the generated full database dump (here sql-202408301447.gz). The example selects month July 2024 which has epoch times 1719784800 to 1722463200. Simply run this on the Meteobridge shell ...

Re: MB VM - database malformed after repeated restore from RPi database

the SQL export appears to be an all-or-nothing affair, meaning the whole database is exported.
Is there an option (maybe availabe soon) to limit the SQL export by a from - to window (at least by the day - the already existing entries will anyway be discarded) ?

Re: MB VM not enough space to repair database

I have meanwhile removed a 10 GB backup file from the RPi which it didn't seem to like.
Then after a full restart of the VM, not only a reboot, it's behaving properly again.
So for that probably a remote login won't give any insights

What is strange is now that during backup it brings error/warning ...

Re: MB VM - database malformed after repeated restore from RPi database

after an 8 hour database rebuild the error messages have disappeared (and 8 hours data are missing now)
why can't MB VM not properly import a database backup created on a MB on RPi without needing to rebuild the database ?
I say so, because I have tried it about 10 times - always with the ...

MB VM - database malformed after repeated restore from RPi database

the system keeps on bringing me the below messages - different restores from different MB on RPi backups
now started forced rebuild on reboot - will take some time as the DB size is 10 GB.

Any ideas ?

Re: Meteobridge VM

you should be able to find your Weather34 langauge file here:
/tmp/mnt/PWS/MB/languages (unless the file system has changed in MB VM)
and the file name is lang.sp.php
you will have to connect via SSH or any other tool which allows you to access the file system

Re: "Meteobridge update 6.0 corrupted when an Ecowitt WH46 sensor is connected"

Thanks. Ecowitt just provided me with their current API docs and indeed the WH46 is new in there. Response from Ecowitt was really fast. Thanks for that.

I implemented support for WH46 in just released Meteobridge update. When WH45 and WH46 are present last one in the data stream will be right ...
