Davis ISS wireless signal - from ISS or repeater? **solved**
I've been working through the setup of a Meteobridge Pro, and I still have a strange thing happening with the signal from the ISS. As discussed in another thread, the construction of my house is massively detrimental to the radio signal from the ISS, with the result that I am forced to have a ...

Re: Email setup
I had a suggestion PM'd to me overnight, from MS72@MH, who suggested trying port 587. Port 587 is one of the ports frequently used for SMTP (together with 25 and 465), but is not the port recommended by my ISP who specify 465 as their chosen client configuration. I use port 465 for all my email ...

Re: Email setup
Hi Warb,
On top by the tab: "service settings" after hitting the "Test Email" button .
Marco
OK, I don't get that message. I just get the normal (for Firefox) 2 alternating dots in the header tab to indicate that Firefox is "thinking" or waiting for data, then the original screen with no ...

Re: Email setup
....... but I get always this Error:
Failed to send email: msmtp: network read error: the operation timed out msmtp: could not send mail
Where do you see the error message? I don't even get an error, it just processes for a while and then acts like everything happened perfectly but no email ...

Email setup. **solved**
I'm trying to configure the email settings for events, but the "test email" button" doesn't send me an email (which is what I'm expecting based on the usual function of such buttons). The details I have entered are correct, but my ISP uses my email address as the username (including the "@") and ...

Re: Vantage Pro 2, "internal" temperature
Meteobridge PRO has two "indoor" sensors. One on the RF board (#0) and one on the main board (#9).
OK, that makes sense.
it is direction of strongest gust. Is it offered in the sensor drop down list? It shouldn't as it is derived information not measured one.
Yes, it's in the station ...

Vantage Pro 2, "internal" temperature. **solved**
I've got my RF issues all fixed, and the data is flowing from the ISS to the new Meteobridge Pro. I've had to put in a correction for wind direction, because the anemometer points south - question: I've corrected "wind0dir", do I need to add corrections for anything else (maybe "wind0maxdir", I'm ...

Re: Meteobridge Pro and Davis repeater?
More experimentation, and answers to the questions posted above!
The ISS is about 70m from the console. In the past I ran much greater distances between the ISS and repeater, up to about 250m, and then a further 70m from the repeater to the console, without issues. Please note that I live on a farm ...

Re: Meteobridge Pro and Davis repeater?
Meteobridge PRO red reads repeater signals, but it does not need you to specify that separately.
OK, thanks. That's interesting because I'm currently getting very poor reception - the MBPro is about 10m from the repeater but is only sporadically receiving data and frequently logging "restarting ...

Meteobridge Pro and Davis repeater?
I'm in the process of setting up my new Meteobridge Pro, and I have a question about the Davis repeater. I've done a few searches and I can't seem to find a definitive answer on how this is configured in the Meteobridge Pro. Various sources state the meteostick is now able to receive from a Davis ...
