I've been running a Davis Vantage Pro2 with Meteobridge on a Raspberry Pi for many years now, and it's been an extremely reliable combination. I can't answer your WS-5000 question from personal experience, but I'd be interested to hear what others recommend for the best integration.

similar issue here with my RPI

I updated license key then rebooted
log in and end at meteobridge landing page
image looks to have loaded fine from what I can see on the landing page
I cannot log on to read the /tmp/image.tgz' saved [4403014/4403014]

Go back to your weatherlink web page

On the right hand side of the web page your will see your station name

click on the little wrench gif

that will take you to device info where you can view your assigned keys
