Re: MB RPI on WiFi

Sorry, my post was not about what you might feel comfortable with. Most users here are not. As said before, I strongly recommend not to try out settings in openwrt.

WLAN works fine with the Meteobridge on RPI 4B. I have one here, so I know for sure. If your WiFi setup does not work, can you ...

Re: MB RPI on WiFi

I do not recommend to dive into the openwrt screens below the meteobridge web interface. While experienced openwrt users might be able to handle this, doing wifi setup there will in 95% of situation make things worse. Meteobridge can be fully managed on its LAN and WLAN settings from the easy to ...

Re: MB RPI on WiFi

I'm having a similar WIFI issue on my RPI 4B. Along with a possibly related issue.

But am still unable to login to OpenWRT. Also, if I save, apply, reboot with the WIFI enabled, it's dead on arrival after the reboot - I can't access it via LAN or WIFI.

Re: Meteobridge supports Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, 4B

Ah Ha!

It was the initial IP range. Booted right up with 192.168.0.xxx/24. I then manually set its IP to my 192.168.10.xxx/24 in the network settings, it's a happy camper now.

It also appears to be happy with the 32 GB SLC.

Thanks much!

Re: Meteobridge supports Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, 4B

Router IP / Subnet 192.168.10.1 255.255.255.0
4 GB RAM on the RPI

My son has several 32 GB SLC cards so he gave me one along with the RPI when my TP Link MR3020 died a few weeks ago. (Which was working on the 192.168.10.1/24) Thought I'd be up again in a jiffy, that may have been my first mistake ...

Re: Meteobridge supports Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, 4B

Ran gparted on Linux, removed all partitions from the SD card.
Downloaded fresh copy of MB RPI image.
Used BalenaEtcher to write the image to the SD card
Inserted in powered down Pi. Connected Ethernet cable.
Powered on.
No joy, stays at rapidly blinking red light. Tried several times, last time let ...

Re: Meteobridge supports Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, 4B

Well...
For several days now I have been trying to get meteobridge to boot on my Raspberry Pi 4B, all to no avail. Here's my specs -

Raspberry 4B
3 Amp, 5 V Raspberry PS
SDSDQED-032G-XI Card
meteobridge-rpi4-v1.3.bin image
Burned to the card with both Raspberry Pi Imager and balenaEtcher on Win 10 ...
