Hi,
I've not looked into homeweatherstation intensively, but appears to me like a useful addition.

Re: Davis Instruments 6450 Solar Radiation Sensor for VantagePro2
The solar and UV sensor do connect physically to the ISS. Thee ISS in turn can connect wireless to either a VantagePro2 console, an Envoy, an Envoy8 or MBPro

As said earlier, "crontab -e" allows you to modify the crontab.

Re: Weather Underground upload fail
Hi, This migth be related to a bug in meteohub. Meteohub was referring to cwop.fuller.net when trying to upload to CWOP. This is one of the CWOP server, but it's not always available. The correct server to use fro CWOP uploads is cwop.aprs.net (which is actually an alias for a trunk of servers). For...

Re: CWOP stopped uploads after upgrade 5.0t
Checked again with Phil, and it seems that all MH users were basically impacted. The correct server to be used for CWOP data is documented in the following link http://www.wxqa.com/servers2use.html 2. What server should I use if my packet ID is CWxxxx or DWxxxx or EWxxxx or FWxxxx? - Use a server de...

Re: CWOP stopped uploads after upgrade 5.0t
Same here, but I don' think i's related to your upgrade. I did run this version already for a while, and my errors started yesterday. 2017.03.01 09:07:27 meteoplug: weathernet: CWOP: error socket open (1): cwop.fuller.net, error socket open (1): cwop.tssg.org, 2017.03.01 09:07:29 meteoplug: weathern...

Re: Suggestion for changing "Messages".
I see more or less the same on meteohub with the logger process: logger (18.12.2016 08:02:55): disconnect station 0 (RFXCOM): response without data logger (18.12.2016 08:03:25): station 0 (RFXCOM), can't write baud rate toggle word "F025" to device /dev/ttyUSB0: No such device logger (18.1...

Hi captgadget
I guess you got a bit confused because of the format.
Date time is displayed in military format:
DD.MM.YY HH:MM:SS
Cheers,
Ysbrand

Re: Meteohub 5.0q - Time sync failed "no servers reachable"
I guess it's not too difficult, but obviously you will need to be careful.
Normally one edits the crontab with "crontab -e"
If you add the line exactly as I did specify, it will sync the time every hour at xx:01

Re: Meteohub 5.0q - Time sync failed "no servers reachable"
Hi,
Not sure if this is related, but I used to have issues with time as well. I added the following to the root crontab, which essentially forces the timesync every hour:
hope this helps.

Re: Meteohub recomputation errors
20141001000000 0.5 0.0 588.8 4976.40 7 is referring to the entire month. Keep in mind that the file rain0-month1 will just contain a single line for each and every month. So this is your statiscal information that has bene collected for that month. Most likely are the 0 values and 20808 values confu...

Re: Meteohub recomputation errors
Yes, I agree it looks funny, but I would not be surprised if there is an odd (read: corrupt) value somewhere in the middle of the month. Currently you are listing the start and end of the month values, but I would recommend to look at the entire month. For analysis pruposes, I would grep for rain0 r...

Re: Meteohub recomputation errors
Hi, I can't tell you where these values are coming from. What I can tell you is that you will need to: - Remove the offending values from the raw data files - Followed by a recomputation, as this will clear the incorrect aggregates You can edit the raw data by going to the "Inspect data" m...
