Opps.
Upgrade Advise: Always shut down your old Meteohub properly before wondering why the new one cannot connect to the weather station reliably.
Having said that however, I am still having issues with USB to my WMR-200 and have all but given up on using this station to get Barometer data. If ...

RFXCOM Problems after Meteohub upgrade
Hi,
I've been running Meteohub 4.5 with an RFXCOM receiver for some years now.
Over the weekend, I finally upgraded to 4.9a. I also moved from an ALIX system to VMware ESX 5.0.
Since this change, I am having a significant issue with the RFXCOM.

Manually Entering Rain Data
Hi All,
My rain gauge has been a little bit less than reliable for the last few months, and I have been collecting rainfall on a piece of paper.
I am wondering if there is an easy way to add the rainfall into the meteohub data so that it appears in all my graphs?
Thanks
Hugo

Updating from Meteohub 4.5i
Hi All,
I have been quite happy with my Meteohub 4.5i for a while now, and have been quite happy just letting it tick along and collect data. It is running on an ALIX 3D3.
I am wondering two things however,
1/ Is there anything I would want that would make it worth updating to 4.6?

Hey johannes770,
Start by getting the keyboard on it. The screen is automatically blanked by the kernel and you will need to disable that to see if it is telling you anything.
When you restart with a keyboard, log onto the console and type "setterm -blank 0" . You may also need to do a "setterm ...

Hi johannes770,
I am also using an ALIX 3d3, with a WMR-200.
I am also seeing the same message in my logs:

Re:ALIX.3d3 from Vario-Store???
Hi,
I just migrated to an ALIX 3D3 from an NLSU. While the Meteohub migration was dead simple thanks to the excellent documentation, I did have some issues with the hardware and the VGA port.
Following are the problems I had:
1. 20+ minute delay before the Linux kernel would start.

Re:Stack Graphs and Tmax more than 30..
Hi,
Please see attached image.
I have also tried with a fixed time period, and still get the same 35 day issue. (Version 4.5b)
Any chance a future version might have an expanded range?
Thanks
Hugo

Stack Graphs and Tmax more than 30..
Hi,
I'm just trying to set up a Stacked Days graph.
It seems to be limited to Tmax > 30 ....
That is not hot here.
Unfortunately, I don't have the data, but we had about 5 days over 45 last year, with the hottest being 48.
Is this a code restriction or is there a way I can easily add >35, >40 ...

Ahh. I see. Ok, I have stolen these ones from the SlugOS/BE 5.3 install.
The attached file is the Australian updates.

Daylight Savings and Timezone updates
Hi,
In Australia some states have made changes to daylight savings in the last couple of years.
Daylight savings started in mine over the weekend but no change to the time on Meteohub.
I have restarted the NSLU2, so it seems to be old timzone data.

Graphing wind direction
Hi,
I am using a line graph to plot wind speed and direction. Unfortunately, most of my wind comes from the North, plus or minus a few degrees.
This results in a very ugly graph as the values jump between 350 and 10 on almost every report.

4.5b Update??
Hi, I clicked the "Check for Update" button thismroning and my Meteohub wants to download version 4.5b. A quick look around did not reveal any release in the downloads section, and no notes.
Does anyone know what is happening here?
Thanks.
