Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
However, I still do not see any of the files under the "Backup" header using the 'Download or Delete Files' selection. It works fine on the RPi3, but both the RPi4 and the VM do not list the files. So you can't download or delete any of the backup files on the RiP4 or VM, making it really...

Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
Yes, this new update works for me. I was able to import the sql-file without any errors on a fresh VM with weather stations defined. So this is resolved. However, I still do not see any of the files under the "Backup" header using the 'Download or Delete Files' selection. It works fine on ...

Meteobridge VM - SFTP test upload failed : sshpass. **solved**
I'm trying to set up my new Meteobridge VM, and have run into another snag. It doesn't appear that SFTP upload is working. I searched the forums and saw that there was a SFTP error issue with the Pro2, but I didn't see anything regarding the new Meteobridge VM install. The same username and credenti...

Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
Looks like some database job kicks-in in parallel and locks the database. I will inspect this on my system. Could you please provide me the gzipped sql you tried to import? I tested with smaller ones and that worked fine. Thanks Boris - I think I have it working now. Based on what you said, I remov...

Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
I tried again, and it failed twice. The error messages go off the screen, so I'm not able to capture them with the screenshot as the logger window is a fixed size. Here I tried to import the database, which failed. So I deleted the database, and re-imported it from the sql-dump: Error: near line 531...

Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
I would recommend to use the new but rather slow export / import SQL feature. Backup/Restore does a binary copy of the database file and that might not work between all CPU architectures. I tried to do the SQL import / export feature, but I get a bunch of errors: Screenshot 2024-07-18 at 6.11.52 AM...

Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
This does work to transfer the database, but there appears to be inconsistent export / import behavior across my devices (RPi3, RPi4, and VM) so it's a bit confusing. For example, only the RPi4 displays the Backup directory with the exported sql-files in the 'Files to download or Delete'. Screenshot...

Re: move existing database to VM meteobridge
HI Mattk, I was looking at that, but I want to export the entire database. And this tab seems to either do increments or time windows. I think maybe I have figured it out. The backed up database of the RPi is not compressed, whereas the backup on the VM output (which it stores locally, not to a USB)...

move existing database to VM meteobridge. **solved**
Hi All, I've installed the new Meteobridge VM in my Proxmox server and it seems to be working well. Thank you! However, I can't figure out how to transfer my existing database from my RPi. Does anyone know how to move an existing database and restore it to a new VM installation so the older data is ...

Re: attempt to write a readonly database (8)
@Wheetie: Are you running your MB PRO on an external non-SLC USB stick? No - Internal ATP Nanodura SLC USB. I started to see these problems with the original 1GB stick, and I replaced the internal with a larger ATP SLC drive to see if that would help. It did not. Sometimes these readonly errors are...

Re: attempt to write a readonly database (8)
I don't run the automated backup script currently. So no scheduled backups (unless the MBPro does something behind the scenes). I was wondering if selecting the 1 min data interval box, maybe caused more frequent database writes, which like you mention, now coincide with another process? I reduced m...

Re: attempt to write a readonly database (8)
Thanks for the quick response. I was hoping the 8gb drive would resolve the problems. But I don't see any change in behavior with the larger / new drive. Do you have the persistent 1 minute saving option enabled? I didn't have (or notice) any problems until I started making / exporting charts, and a...

Re: attempt to write a readonly database (8)
Hey Gyvate - Did a new usb drive solve this problem? I’m getting similar database locked errors, but my database is only ~80mb. Ive tried a restore from backup, and force rebuild, but neither of those helped. I also tried a larger internal SLC usb drive, and no change. I was also wondering if maybe ...
