Re: PRO2 dual USB serial naming problem. **solved**

Yes, working great now, thank you!

With the hub connected and the console connected to ports 2 & 3 the device list looks like this:

/devices/platform/101c0000.ehci/usb1/1-1/1-1.1/1-1.1.2/1-1.1.2:1.0 ttyMH1112
/devices/platform/101c0000.ehci/usb1/1-1/1-1.1/1-1.1.2/1-1.1.2:1.0 ttyMH
/devices ...

Re: How to enable IPv6 on MB PRO2

On the todo list, I get it, its low priority comparatively speaking, but its helpful to show that there are few if any barriers to enabling IPv6 in Meteobridge (Pro) as it stands. Mostly its just needing to add the GUI checkbox to output the config block. I don't expect doing the work on the legacy ...

Re: MB Pro Red hanging about once amonth

It might be worth setting up remote syslog so if its starts to complain before dying, the complaints can be recorded somewhere.

Re: MB Pro Red hanging about once amonth

Random thought, is something spiking memory use and the OOM killer is killing everything?

If the MB was connected via wired Ethernet then ping would likely still work, and that would be a useful diagnostic. (If ping were to fail then that would indicate that the unit is hitting a kernel oops or ...

Re: CWOP upload issues

CWOP has been flakey forever. There's always at least one dead server in the rotation, for whatever reason. I allow retries on it and it usually succeeds on the second try.

It shouldn't be blocking any other uploads, though. Are you sure that's whats happening?

PRO2 rain0total-yearsum not respecting Annual Rain setting

On the current version of Meteobridge on PRO2, the rain0total-yearsum selector is not respecting the Annual Rain setting in Weather Station -> Settings. I'm getting rain since the beginning of the calendar year and not since the start of the selected month (October in my case). Meteobridge on MR ...

PRO2 dual USB serial naming problem. **solved**

Hello,

I'm migrating my MR3020 based Meteobridge to a new PRO2. Currently I have 2 Davis consoles (a Vantage and a Vue) connected via a USB hub. On the old hardware, the two show up as separate tty's and can be attached to 2 weather station configs in Meteobridge.

On the Pro2, however, the ports ...

How to enable IPv6 on MB PRO2

Hey folks,

I recently acquired a MB PRO2 and figured out how to enable IPv6 on it.

The OpenWrt base apps are configured for IPv6 already. This includes the HTTP server and avahi, so mDNS will respond to IPv6 mDNS queries and responses will return IPv6 addresses. Once enabled you can go to 'mbpro2 ...

IPv6? IPv6!

Hey folks,

I'm making a mission this year to bang the drum to get IoT devices to join the 2010s and add IPv6 support. The Europeans / RIPE folks know the pain of having no IPv4 address space available already, with North America close behind.

The OpenWrt underpinnings of Meteobridge already have ...

Fields pulled from PurpleAir sensor

Hello,

I have a PurpleAir PA-II connected to my Meteobridge.

I'd like to know what fields MB is pulling from the PurpleAir that end up as the airXX sensors. I know that MB exports the PM10/PM2.5/PM1.0 values, and they appear as air[012]pm in my setup, but it looks like MB is pulling Channel A only ...
