Re: error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused

2) is a bug that will be fixed with next update

1) indicates that your weather station and/or usb-serial adapter is not recognized/connected. This causes the data logger to restart again an again which results the data logger not providing status data on its sockets, which results in the sensors ...

Re: usb stick damaged

I searched on NSLU2 forum for any problems simmilar to this and I found a member that had something like this too with his usb stick.

A user answered this:

It may be possible to recover your raw data if it isn't damaged. I had a thumb drive fail ...

Re: usb stick damaged

http://forum.meteohub.de/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5415

Thanks for the attention. But I can't do that, I can't access the usb stick. If I enter the IP to access meteohub (the normal IP 192.128.1.77) it says "unnable to connect the server".

The usb stick has a led that blinks when data is being ...

Re: usb stick damaged

As damage is mostly quite widespread I don't think it will work, but you migh give it a try if you know of any tools that might be helpful.

Recommended way is to try to get the /data/weather tree saved and transferred to a stick (completely new setup) as this is where your weather data has been ...

So, I should have no problems with using a 4GB SD card in a USB card reader? Sorry, I didn't understand the first part, can you say it in other words please? :)

Re: Meteohub error - Read-only file system

Thanks for the reply.

Just one more thing, I have one more question: on NSLU2, can I set meteohub on a 4GB SD card, connected to a USB card reader, of course, instead of a 4GB USB stick?

I noticed that USB sticks break down too often... Is it the same thing, using what I said above? Will, if ...

Meteohub error - Read-only file system

I have Meteohub v4.7 installed on a 4GB USB stick for a long time ago, in NSLU2 hardware.

The USB stick never restarted since I have installed Meteohub software. But this is not my problem, I think. I never had any data errors, data upload failures, or any other problems with Meteohub. The data ...

Re: WAN IP says

I have the same problem since yesterday. But with some differences: all fields have the respective informations, except DNS:

Hostname: meteohub
Workgroup: HOME
MAC: *MAC ADRESS*
IP: 192.168.1.77
Gateway: 192.168.x.x
DNS:
WAN IP: no internet access

After viewing this topic, I followed all ...

Re: Problem setting up new USB stick for NSLU2

I don't even used the diskimage program, I think my problem was that, because I said so in my previous post. In other words, I skipped that part.

I'm a bit confused. I was very grateful if you can explain better for other words what must I have to do.

Re: Problem setting up new USB stick for NSLU2

Sorry for my english. After searching for a while in this forum for a problem similar to the problem that I have, I found this topic. My problem is similar, but with some differences.

After a power surge (not failure), I manually turned on my NSLU2. But, this time, I heard not the normal bips but ...

Ok. I'll do that.

Later, I'll tell something (if it works or if the problem continues - I hope not...).

Thanks for all your help,

Re:Problem - Data upload stopped (connection with Internet f

So, you are saying to change the last block of meteohub IP to a value betweem 1 and 254 that is not used by another machine or equipment?

And If I do that, meteohub will stay forever with that IP, even when reboot?

Re:Problem - Data upload stopped (connection with Internet f

I would propose to use static IPs to get around this DHCP problem. See instructions here (ignore when values flip after having pressed "save", just reboot to see changes effective): http://www.meteohub.de/joomla/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=32&func=view&id=3506&catid=23
