I just did a little browsing on the scottish weather network and it turns out, that they are able to rip the information they need from a WD clientraw.txt file. Since Meteohub now supports WD-live by generating the clientraw files, it looks to me all you have to do is...

The "scottish weather network" is not on the list of supported networks, but Meteohub has a tradition of rapidly adding new networks.
I would suppose that you drop at note to "info(at)meteohub.de" with some information how the protocol is or whom to connect at the network to get this information ...

Don't be alarmed by the "wmr928eval (15.08.2008 19:28:02): no sensor found to match export name th1" message.
wmr928eval is the general data computation process valid for all stations. It computes time-compacted data from the raw data, so at this level there is no difference what weather station ...

When your system is stil at linux kernel 2.6.16 you
have to do a reflash of your firmware and a fresh
installation of a usb stick image.

your setup is somehow special as you are not using non-routeable IPs like most users behind a NATing router. I don't think that this is the reason of your troubles, but I would have liked mention that in he first place.

just a thought... I see that you do a chgrp. that can result in bringing the files into a group the ftp-server program has no delete permissions for.
The error might disappear when you leave ownership and group-membership of the files generated by the ftp-server untouched.

as far as I know, all versions below 2.6 must first be updated to 2.6. After that, update to versions post 2.6 are applicable.
