Temperature Graph layout

Hi
I am about to try and describe what I need/require from the visual layout of the graph.

to start with there are two sensors on the same graph and both graph lines start from the left-hand side of the screen, but the scales for each graph are on opposite sides of the graph layout. One graph line ...

Re: Log in to NSLU2/Meteohub

Hi All

Once again, the nslu2 is reachable via a ping at both 192.168.1.77/8, but as soon as you add the
cgi-bin/meteohub.cgi to get to Meteohub, there is no connection. I have just re-booted and changed the psu and lo and behold, I am once again in.
This is driving me crazy. I am adding again that ...

Using PuTTY with WinXP SP3 and NSLU2

Hi
Is it possible to use this program, via windows xp to examine what is inside the NSLU2?

I get it running via 192.168.1.77:22 , user name OK but when asked for the password, it freezes the cdm screen and will not let me put anything in via the keyboard.

Thanks

Re: Log in to NSLU2/Meteohub

I think in a pinch, Linux Reader 1.1 can copy out your data and graph definitions if you are using WinXP. It is free. I used it once after a USB thumb drive failed on my NSLU2. Your raw weather is under "public\weather\yearmo". I didn't copy the other files, but let the NSLU2 rebuild those with a ...

Re: Log in to NSLU2/Meteohub

[quote="YJB"]Hmm,

The files that you are showing are from a brand new meteohub image. After you've copied the image (using rawwrite to a stick) meteohub will normally extract the files on the stick during the 1st boot cycle.

Apparently this doesn't happen with your setup, so apparently something ...

Re: Log in to NSLU2/Meteohub

download putty and open an ssh session with your meteohub.
there you can check the logs in
/var/log

if you are not familiar with linux then try
http://winscp.net/eng/download.php

it has a GUI and allows you to open the above directory and the logs

NSLU2 and update. Very likely a dead USB-Stick ...

Re:RFXCOM checksum errors

Hi
More food for thought. I have just had to strip my UVR138 down and fit ferrite rings on the data and power supply cables. This was to help kill unwanted interference from other stations and unknown rf signals. All is well with mine at the moment.

Update 4.3b

Began update this morning without checking if there was any later versions, there was 4.3c.:silly:

Again the update seems to have hung at 1 red dot on the update meter.

Question, can I stop this update and start to install the 4.3c version? without crashing the system.

I am in direct contact ...

Re:New Batteries in the UV SENSOR

Any time you make changes on the Sensors page and hit 'save', Meteohub does a forced recomputation. It doesn't know that all you did was reassign an ID number, but knows that something has changed with the sensor names/IDs and a recomputation is the only way to ensure that all of the chunked data ...
