Re:CRON Schedule - less than 1 minute?
I still use cron but only to manage the new scripts. One of the scripts starts 4 processes that gather and send the clientraw, clientrawextra, clientrawhour, and clientrawdaily files according to user-stipulated delay times. That one is a bash shell script. Cron runs it to check if the processes are ...

Re:Moon rise and set in WDL
I was wondering why it wasn't working. Patience is the easy part. If Boris has looked into it and has responded then it is at least on his mind and that is always good.

Re:CRON Schedule - less than 1 minute?
With Boris' help I found out how to get meteohub to generate new clientraw.txt files. I wrote 2 PERL scripts, one to control the timing and invocation of the other, and the other to generate the clientraw.txt file and to ftp it up to my WDL site. Right now I am updating every 20 seconds and it is ...

Re:WDL V6 - experiences?
I have been using WDL 6 but do not own a MeteoHub. I have not had any major issues with it. Ok, so I am using WeatherDisplay while testing it, but my intention is to get the 'next' MeteoHub when it becomes available. There seems very little point in buying an NSLU2 right now.

Re:CRON Schedule - less than 1 minute?
clientraw.txt will be as up-to-date as the sampling rate it receives from the weather station during setup. The VP2 can update as quickly as 1/2.5 seconds. Using WeatherDisplay, I am ftping clientraw.txt every 20 seconds.

Re:Meteohub NSLU2 successor - expected in Q4
I received a note from him in response to another query that said the announcement would be in a week or two. I know it isn't the same as hearing it from him, but it is an update.
