The new stick image returns an "unexpected end of archive" error when trying to open with WinRAR. I downloaded twice with the same results.

I am guessing from the checksum errors that you are running an Oregon Scientific station. I initially had the same problem with my OS station on the iConnect although it had always worked OK when I was on an NSLU2. I had the checksum errors on the NSLU2 also, but they always went away after the next ...

All is working now. My fault due to a sloppy copy and paste.

I have applied the 4.8f update to my iConnect and followed the steps to generate a new activation code. I have tried to apply the new code but it does not seem to do anything as I am now stuck in 90 day demo mode.

The Transcend P5 9-in-1 #TS-RDP5K reader is the one I am using which I found on Amazon for $6.70 with free shipping. The iConnect I got from Walmart for $49.94 and the memory was $15.98. With shipping and tax, I was under $100 for a great working system.

From my searching to find SLC memory for my iConnect, I discovered that usb drives that use this type of memory are very scarce. I was unable to find a supplier for this type of memory and ended up using the Transcend compact card reader and the Integral Endurance SD card.

I set up an iConnect yesterday with no problem. The wifi is off by default. I use weather display to download the data from meteohub and the transfer is much faster with the iConnect than it was with the NSLU2. I put in all the settings manually so I don't know if a transfer is possible.
