Re: Raspberry Pi3

The difficulty you had flashing the download to your microSD card may suggest a hardware problem with the microSD card. Flash the card with a Raspbian OS image you know is good and see if it will load and run. You can also flash the downloaded bin to a non SLC microSD card and see if that will load....

Re: Raspberry Pi3

Does your RPi red LED behave as Boris states it should when first powered up with the Meteobridge microSD Card installed ?. First the red led is blinking slow, then blinking fast and then on solid ?. If not, possibly the bin image Download was corrupted during download or during the flashing process...

I’s probably a silly question, but which model RPi are you using ?.

Re: Raspberry Pi3

Did you follow the steps on the Meteobridge Wiki ?. Initial Connect to a Raspberry Pi with a Meteobridge SD card inserted When your Raspberry Pi has been equipped with a Meteobridge micro SD card, next thing is to connect to the Meteobridge with your browser and to do configuration steps. In its ini...

Re: Nano SD connection issues

Sounds like a good idea. The slowdown you experienced without any changes made by you to your NANO SD seems like a component starting to fail.

Re: Nano SD connection issues

It sounds more like a hardware issue than anything else. I don’t know if a problem with your SLC micro SD card would cause the problems you’re having, if so, you can get a replacement on eBay for a reasonable cost. The ATP AF2GUDI is available on eBay for about $20 with shipping ( item # 19369799413...

Re: Meteobridge supports Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, 4B

As my earlier post ( edited ) says, only those microSD cards on the list I posted from the Wiki are recognized by the Meteobridge software. Buy the one I mentioned. It’s by far the least expensive SLC microSD Card and 2GB as well.

Re: Meteobridge supports Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, 4B

From the Wiki: swissbit SFSD1024N1BM1TO-I-DF-2A1-STD (microSD Card, 1 GB, SLC Flash, -40°C - 85°C) swissbit SFSD2048N1BM1TO-I-DF-2A1-STD (microSD Card, 2 GB, SLC Flash, -40°C - 85°C) swissbit SFSD1024N1BM1TO-I-DF-221-STD (microSD Card, 1 GB, SLC Flash, -40°C - 85°C) swissbit SFSD2048N1BM1MT-I-ME-221...

Re: RPi Model 3B+ - NOT COMPATIBLE

I don’t know if it would work for you but Boris has just released an RPi version of his meteobridge software that does run on the 3B+ and 4B. You need an industrial grade 1GB or 2GB SLC type memory micro SD card ( which is available on eBay for around $20 ) and to purchase a meteobridge license ( mu...

Re: RPi Model 3B+ - NOT COMPATIBLE

The website does state that Meteohub is only supported on the RPi B, B+, model 2 and Model 3. Note that the 3B ( which does work ) and the 3B+ ( which doesn’t work ) are Not Listed. Though not specifically excluded, it is apparent that they are not officially supported. “Please understand that for c...

Re: MR3020 cannot find IP address with LAN, MAC OS and USB to enet adaptor. **solved**

I think you’re going to have to go and setup your Meteobridge as if you just downloaded and installed the Meteobridge firmware from the WiKi on a non modified MR3020. You’ll need to configure your Mac to access your router using DHCP and use one of the recommended tools or the alternative USB Thumb ...

Re: MR3020 cannot find IP address with LAN, MAC OS and USB to enet adaptor

If you’re trying to access the MR2020 settings to change it’s Wi-Fi password to your new home password and are trying to access it via your USB LAN Adapter, I believe you need to turn off Wi-Fi in settings. Having two active connections just confuses your browser.

Re: Weather 34 built into Nano SD

I finally got the WU forecast working. First, I was using an api from another WU Station ID which I had created earlier. After getting a WU api for the correct station ID which I was using for WU on my Nano SD and copying it to the Weather 34 new template settings page and saving it, I went to the W...

Re: Weather 34 built into Nano SD

I followed Boris’s instructions to load the most current version of the dashboard and it works fine. I do find that the Wunderground Forecast doesn’t load at all, I just get a blank screen when trying to show it. I’ve gotten and inserted a new Wunderground API key in the Nano SD Weather 34 Dashboard...
