Re: LEDs blink in Meteosheeva

Since you are unable to access your SheevaPlug through the web page any longer you can’t obtain it’s System ID and activation code to perform the online license transfer. Boris is the only one who can help you. He’ll probably require the MAC address of your SheevaPlug located on the label on the bot...

Re: LEDs blink in Meteosheeva

Boris solved the license problem for me when my SheevaPlug SD Card failed. I believe he just needed the MAC address of my SheevaPlug ( located on the label on the bottom of the SheevaPlug ). I switched to the RPi Meteohub as well but later also had several micro SD card failures so finally switched ...

Re: LEDs blink in Meteosheeva

One question. Does the LED on your Sheevaplug blink at the same rate or is there a pattern. It’s possible that your sheevaplug does not have a valid IP address. See the manual section on originally setting up the Sheevaplug & obtaining an IP address. Start Meteohub “You can now reach the Meteohub sy...

Re: LEDs blink in Meteosheeva

Contact Boris at info(at)meteohub.de. Explain your problem and I’m sure he will find a solution to the activation issue without having to purchase a new license. Since your SD card is corrupted you may not be able to access the files any longer and even if you could they may not be compatible with t...

Re: LEDs blink in Meteosheeva

The System Information Page ( on both the Sheevaplug and the RPi ) is accessed by going to the IP address assigned to either the Sheevaplug Meteohub or the RPi Meteohub by your Router using a browser which brings up the login to the Meteohub Webpage. One of the tabs says System Info. You must know h...

Re: LEDs blink in Meteosheeva

Follow the instructions on the Meteohub WiKi page https://wiki.meteohub.de/Setup_RPI. Download the latest version image v5.0s and use the recommended software to copy the image to your micro SD card. Be aware that the RPi version of Meteohub suffers the same issues as your Sheeva Plug with micro SD ...

Re: Installation fails (does not start)

The last model of RPi that is officially supported is the 3B. There is a mod called the Frankenkernal mod ( developed by a user not by Boris ) that will allow the use of the 3B+, but with limitations. I do not believe that Boris will ever update the Meteohub RPi software to support any of the newer ...

Re: FTP fails

I think it very unlikely that Boris will be upgrading or fixing the Meteohub image at all. His last update was only to change the way a license is purchased. No bug fixes since v5.0s. Considering he’s never updated the RPi image to work with any model of the RPi since the 3B ( it only works on the 3...

Re: Change a new TP-Link TL-MR3020

From the Meteobrige WiKi: “Can I transfer my License to a new Device? Licenses are bound to the physical device. When you want to transfer the license to a new Meteobridge device, we can do that for free for you. Simply start the new device in trial mode and contact "info(at)meteobridge.com" telling...

Re: Help for a Network Wimp

Steve, The issues with Open WRT and your router using 192.168.1.1 are only encountered if you have flashed the router with the recovery.bin file and are trying to access the router to flash it with the Meteobridge firmware using the recovery browser. Since you successfully flashed the router using t...

Re: Help for a Network Wimp

Try these procedures: 1. Go to network settings on your Mac. 2. Turn off Wi Fi. 3. Highlight Ethernet. 4. Click the Advanced Button. 5. On the TCP/IP menu change configure IPv4 from using DHCP to Manually. 6. Make the IPv4 Address 192.168.0.66 and the Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 7. Push the OK button....

Re: Help for a Network Wimp

I think your best bet is to get a TL-MR3020 (version 3.x) and download the preconfigured server and virtual box as explained in the wiki. It doesn’t appear that the Mac TFTP server can be configured to upload the firmware to the WR902AC v3 directlly since all of the upload instructions on the Wiki a...

Re: Help for a Network Wimp

On the download page for transfer there is a contact link with the developer. Ask him how to use his software to do the transfer. I’ve never used it so not sure what you need to do. You might explain what you’re using it for and you’re an TFTP novice. If worse comes to worse get a TL-MR3020 (version...

Re: Help for a Network Wimp

Apparently, there is no TFTP support in OSX Catalina. From looking on the web, the only TFTP server that works on Catalina is Transfer: https://www.adriangranados.com/apps/transfer. It costs $10 but has a 7 day free trial. Give it a shot.

Try this:
https://www.petenetlive.com/KB/Article/0001247

Or try this application : http://kin.klever.net/pumpkin#.XoOhpC8idvJ

You’ll have to stop the built in Mac TFTP server first.
