Re: Windy.com seeking input on developing API - Let's make Meteobridge first

I thought about the time stamp but it seemed like more work for not much benefit. Although I admit to not really know how Retry and lost connectivity really work. For this reason I suggested setting Retry to 2. That equals 5 minutes. After that point the data if it was not received is useless as th...

Re: Windy.com seeking input on developing API - Let's make Meteobridge first

The just released update of Meteobridge does now send pressure data via "baromin" parameter. As worked out by user gus the "pressure" parameter expects Pa, which is rather unusual, and I did send hPa as other networks ask for. That explains factor 100 too low readings. So it is not an error on the ...

Re: Windy.com seeking input on developing API - Let's make Meteobridge first

Don't use this yet...it doesn't work right UPDATE: Problem Fixed - see next post This new update has a bug...well the bug isn't Meteobridge's fault. The problem is that Windy does not accept hPa. It only accepts Pa and that is why the pressure reading if off by a few decimal places. I would recommen...

Re: Windy.com seeking input on developing API - Let's make Meteobridge first

I think I have an error in the rain variable. I think it need to be changed. rain0total-daysum=in.2 ---> rain0total-sum60=in.2 Windy documentation says: precip - real number [mm]; precipitation over the past hour rainin - real number [in]; rain inches over the past hour (alternative to precip) Yep.....

Re: Windy.com seeking input on developing API - Let's make Meteobridge first

If anyone wants to do this now on their Meteobridge you can. If this is too complicated then wait for the Meteobridge update to do it easier like you do all the other online services. No idea when the update is coming though. All you have to do is go to the Services tab and add an HTTP service with ...

Re: ObserverIp and Meteobridge rain total discrepancy

The Meteobridge was not designed to pick up these totals from the ObserverIP. It was designed to calculate and keep track of its own totals. Every count of your rain gauge tip causes the Meteobridge total to increase. If the Meteobridge looses connection with the ObserverIP then there will be a disc...

Meteobridge Alien Data

I just read the firmware update log and there is a new update that gives the Meteobridge the ability to handle what is being called alien data. I'd like to understand this new feature better and examples of possible use scenarios. What is this for? Version 3.9 released March 2, 2019 allows to feed a...

I am in contact with windy and plan to add this weather network to Meteobridge, once the upload api is defined.
Awesome news! I'm glad to be a Meteobridge supporter and user.

Windy.com API upload from Meteobridge

Windy.com has opened up discussion for them to become a new place to send weather station data. I just thought it would be great if the Meteobridge became one of the first devices that supported sending weather data there. Hopefully Boris can spring into action and make the necessary updates when th...

Re: Get latest on reboot

I think there is a bug in 3.7.

Solution
Roll back to 3.6
Reboot
Then select Latest Version.
Reboot
You'll now be on 3.8

Version 3.7 has a bug which doesn't let you jump to 3.8.

Feature Request: Update ObserverIP picture for WS-2902A

Now that the Ambient Weather WS-2902A has become a popular hardware to have with the pairing of an ObserverIP, I thought it would be a good idea if Meteobridge reflected that in their station setup screen. I'm referring to changing the station picture to show not just the older WS-1400-IP with the O...
