Re: AWEKAS: Error: failed: Operation timed out. (no more tries)

I'm still on MB V4.3 and I'm also getting this error and my uploads are not making it to AWEKAS. I don't think this is related to AWEKAS API V4 because MB 4.3 does not have this update. At least it isn't supposed to have it according to the change log. Even though MN 4.3 is not supposed to have this...

Re: Remote reboot URL

jcbago, I'd like to point out to you that the Meteobridge has built in remote access capabilities. It is very simple to use. First ensure you have a good password for the Meteobridge. Then enable the check box in the System tab to Allow login from the Internet. Then click on the Copy URL button and ...

Re: Meteobridge stopped updating Weather Underground Webcam

Follow up question has anyone managed to send a web cam image to WOW have tried and tried FTP settings but cant get it to work any ideas, is anyone out there doing this. Re: Upload to customized weather services?

Actually I just realized that for the Ecowitt protocol it won't work. You'd have to do it with a MB script instead of HTTP service. This is because the HTTP method is GET and the Ecowitt protocol is POST. I haven't done one of those yet...but I'm sure someone else can pick up the pieces.

Re: Upload to customized weather services?

The Meteobridge already has this capability built in. You go to the Services tab and then add an HTTP upload service type. You'll have to rebuild the WU protocol format or the Ecowitt protocol format using the MB variables. You can add way more than 3 instances to any location you want. When Windy f...

Re: Problem with router asus and balanced dual wan with meteobridge PRO-RF

If you have a need to reach the other network then doing so with load balancing is not the solution I would have used. Instead there are two other options to reach the webcams. You could reach them via the Internet if you open and forward ports. But a better way would be to set up VPN between both n...

Re: Problem with router asus and balanced dual wan with meteobridge PRO-RF

Set the 2nd WAN as Fail Over. There are all kinds of problems when you load balance across different carriers. Too many SOHO routers just do not implement load balancing correctly to make it functional. You likely have a WAN connection that you prefer anyway. That should be your primary. Only switch...

Re: difference meteobridge?

You can also get a MB Pro Black. It doesn't need a console to work. It will get data from WLL or IP logger or from other USB logger.

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

I'm on 4 days running with no data loss. My Messages log is very short...no incidents. Meteobridge 4.3 (Jun 14 2020, build 13564), FW 1.4 MR3020 hw version 1. My Meteobridge is not using Ethernet, it is connected via WiFi. Also notice my GW1000 connects via TCP/IP not th. wnetd (14.06.2020 08:47:50)...

Re: Meteobridge canot update Weather Underground

You could set the IP address of the Meteobridge manually and use the reservation address you configured for it on your router. Then you'll be able to manually specify a DNS server for the Meteobridge, and use 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1. This will allow you to enable DoT for your other DHCP devices... I thin...

Re: Meteobridge canot update Weather Underground

On the Meteobridge, how is your Network tab IP Address configured? DHCP or Set Manually?
Looks like a DNS issue.

I recommend using DHCP and then going to your router's DHCP service and setting an IP address reservation for the Meteobridge.

I'm going on 11 hours since 1.6.0 firmware install and it hasn't had any issues even once. No data loss. I'm set to catching it also via MB alert trigger. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: MB PRO shows data gaps with GW1000 after FW upgrade to 1.5.9 (GW1000)

New firmware 1.6.0 from Ecowitt addresses data loss issue bug that Boris discovered. Previous GW1000 firmware 1.5.9 was not allowing the Meteobridge to keep a constant connection with the GW1000.

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

Sort of a typo in the MB Release Log: https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum released June 11-12, 2020 fixes a missing % symbol in chart "allinone-wind1st" on Meteobridge PRO platform. adapts support for GW1000 station running on Ecowitt FW 1.5.3 (lightning, extra temp, leak).
