Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

That is a WH65. Same as what I have. Try to re-register sensor in WS View app.

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

Anyone notice meteobridge not seeing rain data from GW1000? Fine on the GW1000 side. Nope, not having that problem. I suggest power cycling your hardware. (Running Meteobridge 4.3 (Jun 11 2020, build 13534), FW 1.4) MB rain.jpg Power cycled GW1000 and Meteobridge. Still no rain data. What sensors d...

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

Without using a GW1000 myself it is not that easy to find, how and why the GW1000 sometimes drops the TCPIP connection. I have implemented a rapid rebuild of the connection when these "zero data" errors occur (which in my understanding is an indicator for a dropped connection). Anybody out here, wh...

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

I've spoken to Boris. He is working on a lot things at the moment. This issue is on the list but not at the very top. Most interestingly he has identified a problem with the Ecowitt firmware. The Meteobridge establishes a TPC/IP connection with the GW1000 and it keeps this connection open. It seems ...

Well I must stand corrected then, however you should have replied to the concerned individual in this thread rather than just me ;) after all I dont have an issue with Meteobridge or its support.

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

Perhaps you missed the part about how EVERY OTHER SERVICE related to the GW1000 does NOT have this issue. That means the issue lies squarely at the feet of Meteobridge. What is this "Every other service" do you mean the services running on the running on the GW1000? Did you read my previous post in...

Re: Camera integration: does meteobridge support RSTP

Well I could have saved you the time and trouble if you had answered my question of what camera you have, as I was planning of providing you with that information. But even better than iSpy is the excellent documentation from Amcrest which is a lot nicer and more complete and works for all Dahua clo...

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

Hi Upload to ecowitt.net from GW1000 works fine and no gaps. Uploading to Weewx/interceptor from the GW1000 works fine too, again no gaps here. Uploading from GW1000 to MB still gives 15-minute gaps. When they come is random Gert Yes, true. Which means that the GW1000 is not restarting nor resettin...

Re: Ecowitt GW1000 and Meteobridge

Yes there is an official changelog though it is not an end user changelog. It is called the GW1000 API documentation. And yes the API has changed significantly enough to have caused the issue I believe. Boris has it...because I sent it to him. There was also an end user changelog you could say in th...

This issue is also being discussed in the MB Pro section, although it obviously is affecting both Pro and Standard.

Re: MB PRO shows data gaps with GW1000 after FW upgrade to 1.5.9 (GW1000)

I've analysed the GW1000 API and its new response and compared firmware 1.5.9 to previous versions. The API data response from the GW1000 is noticeably bigger (considerably more 2 byte data sets sent) even though I'm using the same sensors as before. It just means that the GW1000 is now sending more...

Re: MB PRO shows data gaps with GW1000 after FW upgrade to 1.5.9 (GW1000)

There is good reason for the new Ecowitt firmware 1.5.9 to be different. Ecowitt's new firmware 1.5.9 does change the API because it supports new sensors that are not for sale yet. I've sent Boris the new GW1000 API documentation. But the fact remains that both Cumulus MX and Weather-Display that bo...

Re: MB PRO shows data gaps with GW1000 after FW upgrade to 1.5.9 (GW1000)

I'm experiencing the same issue with Meteobridge Standard and Ecowitt GW1000, so this issue is not limited to Pro. Well the issue is a bit different. I'm not looking to export but rather just upload to other services and I notice missing gaps of 5 or 8 minutes randomly, like 1 or 2 per hour. Perhaps...
