Meteohub on VirtualBox?

Has anyone successfully got Meteohub to run on a VirtualBox?
I've managed to convert the VMware image to VirtualBox, but Meteohub runs quite unstable and does not always boot :(.

VirtualBox is running on Ubuntu

Re: Meteohub & Cumulus?

Ok, too bad. I read some very old posts that you had the intention of trying. The reason for me asking, is that the web part of Cumulus looks pretty nice and I'm searching for a nice and modern web design for my aging weather site.

Meteohub & Cumulus?

Hi,

I've tried to see if there was any export capability for Cumulus, but I haven't been able to find a clear answer / method. Is it possible, if so - how?

Thanks for your response. I've now ensured one reading at the time with 2 seconds in between. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Webserver timeout?

When using the HTTP interface to get sensor data on Meteohub I often get "The underlying connection was closed: The connection was closed unexpectedly.".
Could it be because the Alix.1D can't keep up?

Re: FTP uload confuses other applications

Problem is that the applications look for created files, not renamed files. If I look for .temp file, they disappear very quickly as they get renamed.
For those that are paying for their broadband usage, it also makes a small (big over time) change compared to just uploading the file.

FTP uload confuses other applications

Hi, As I can tell, when Meteohub uploads files via FTP, it uploads them as <filename>.<ext>.<temp>, after the upload it renames them to <filename>.<ext>. This not only causes a (slight) increase in data transfer, but more seriously (for me), it confuses other applications quite a lot. The data which...

Change to HTTP Data Logging Protocol

In the "HTTP Data Logging Protocol, Version 1.2" it states that: The logger should reply data wrapped as TEXT/PLAIN in one of two types (the requesting program decides on the type) flat text, line-based (each response is terminated by a line feed).○ flat text, line-based (each response is terminated...

Re: Add compatibility with 1-wire sensors

MSure (or now BeyondMeasure) uses SQLlite or MySQL so all data is available for other systems. It can also read the textfiles from e.g. Metehub and use that data.

A general port to Synology (and QNAP) would indeed be very nice :D

Re: Update 4.7e

Despite it being normal, is it possible to disable the .77 address? It's visually/mentally annoying to have two IP addresses for the same device when it's not needed.

What is the reason for the .77 address?
