Re: This is the result after flash MR3020 v1.8

From the garbled message I can identify something like busybox, which is a clear indication that the unit has started fine. Which of the following methods did you use to find out the IP?
- magicip.meteobridge.com
- led blinking
- router log
- ip scanner

Re: mqtt

Thanks for your explanation. I assumed that it is more a tech-focussed request. As one can request any data from the meteobridge via a http request, I don't see a compelling reason to invest into MQTT... unless someone really brings a killer use case where MQTT is a must.

Re: weatherBoxx easy keine WLAN-Verbindung

Bitte mal im ausführlichen wiki www.meteobridge.com unter "getting started" lesen. Da steht, wie man auf LAN DCHP zurückstellt und dann neu einrichtet, um die neuen WLAN Credentials für Deinen neuen Router einzustellen.

Re: This is the result after flash MR3020 v1.8

The MR3020 does not have an externally accessible serial port. If you soldered one to it on your own, you should be able to get the baudrate settings right to 115200 8N1. Apart from that the wiki explains how to access the meteobridge from your LAN.

Re: WXSIM - Meteobridge Pro

Yes, rain totals are just computed for the requested time period. When you try to get around the 72h limitation of available data in 1 minute resolution by polling every hour data from it and by appending these snippets, rain-totals will not sum up in the export file over the day or month. When you ...

Re: mqtt

Thanks, but this is not what I asked for. Can you name an existing service that will make use of it and where http uploads don't do? Something that provides a benefit for the broad range of users so that my invest in time directly pays off instead of just having a tick-in-the-box for MQTT to make th...

Re: Meteobridge NANO SD Restricted microSD Cards

Great! You will not regret to have spent a few more bugs on it and waiting a few days. The standard cards will fail for sure after a few months.

Please keep in mind that gust speed of last 10 minutes will not change within 10 minutes when no higher gust is recorded in that time. Logical, isn't it?

Re: Bad wind0(0) sensor data, "chill x10"

Yes, wind data is coming in but temp data is missing, so no calculation of windchill. Just ignore, on next interval both should be there.

MR3020v3 is a reasonable upgrade imho. Unfortunately, flashing is a bit complicated.

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

That is not possible as just one can send commands to the Vantage. The PC or the NANO. When both do, answers will be in disorder and a total mess. As your PC program cannot listen only (not build for slave operation) the NANO has to do when both are operating the console.
