Hallo skyewright

We have had rain again these night. The difference was only 0,2mm. The total rain wars 3,3mm.
My station has show my 3,3mm, WD has show my 3,1mm rain.
You are secure it isn't the offste setting?

Do you have an offset set anywhere?

If the correct rain is getting into Meteohub's records, then that same figure ought to get into WD.

Yes, you are right. But it is not so.:S
My Station shows me 3.3 mm,meteohub shows me 3.3 mm,WDL shows me 3.3 mm to ,but WD shows me 3.1 mm.:X
I can not set the rain in meteohub, but WD.

The only reason I can think of for that is the original one, i.e. that for some reason WD is not 'seeing' the rain0 sensor often enough when it does the "most recent sensor" request every 3 seconds.
It's difficult to test that theory without seeing the sort of 'debug' data that my WD produces but that yours does not seem to. :(

Here's something to try. If you use these URLs in your browser (replace 192.168.0.78 with your Meteohub local IP), what do you get?

Yes. It shows what I suspected.
The sensor readings arrive in groups, all with the same timestamp, and rain is always the first.

Given the approach that WD has adopted to read from Meteohub, and especially the way that rain is handled, that is very inconvenient. :(

Every few (5?) seconds, WD asks for the "latest sensor reading".

The way your sensor readings are recorded means that there is a very, very small time in which rain0 is ever the "latest sensor reading".

Once a minute, WD also asks for "all the sensor readings in the last minute", so in theory that's okay and is the reason why you don't also have a problem with th0 and thb0 but unfortunately WD only check rain readings in the "latest sensor reading" section.

There is a good reason for only checking rain in one place but it's probably too complex for my explanation to translate well!

All would be well if rainfall were checked in "all the sensor readings in the last minute" instead of in "latest sensor reading". I have previously suggested that to the WD developer. Maybe it's time I suggested it again...

I hope that makes at least a little sense when translated! :)

I can't believe this line:
20090301223442 rain0 0.3 168.6 -1
The "-1" should not be there.

Hallo skyewright
Hallo admin
I have understood everything, and I can follow your explanation. So it's a programming problem, and only from Wd to change.
If you have contact with WD, that would be very nice of you,the problem there to explain.
I thank you for all your patience would be glad to hear from you.I was very pleased with someone from Scotland to be allowed to speak.
Thanks for everything:)
Greeting Wölkchen

Hallo admin

What is wrong with the value -1:S
If not for the other WH-1080 generated?

Maybe just a copy => paste => edit error, with the -1 somehow slipped from the -1 at the end of the thb0 lines?

Could it be that here is the error?
I have now meteohub in the attitudinal=> weatherstation => Holding period of live data, the value changed.
After that,I was able to observe, that the rainfall in Dashboard was wrong.
What kind of value would be correct, for my station?

I do not believe that that is relevant to the problem of WD not seeing your rainfall as it happens.

I believe that the setting you mention sets how long Meteohub itself considers a reading to be valid as 'live' data if a sensor stops reporting.
