crontab modifications lost on reboot ?

Post by Medor » Thu May 09, 2019 4:42 pm

I access OpenWRT on my TP-Link TL-MR3020 through Network/Expert Mode, to add 2 lines on crontab. They are saved fine. But on reboot the contents of crontab go back to the original version.
Any way to prevent that ? Would it be the same if I access OpenWRT by SSH ?

When you are operating on shell level at the underlying openwrt you are at your own. I recommend not to do so as the Meteobridge SW is very tight on resources and by adding things on your own chances are good to result into unstable operation. Your questions looks better positioned in a openwrt forum, instead of here.
