Using the % symbol in tweets

Post by Tugrik » Wed Nov 20, 2013 1:27 am

Is there any guide on using special characters in the tweet engine on the meteobridge? I found out the hard way that if you ad a % (for displaying relative humidity) then the scripts that process the template variables freak out and do URL encoding on everything (such as turning every space into %20, etc).

Is there a proper way to 'escape' or otherwise insert a % into the tweet without causing this behavior? Thanks!

I have the same problem. Until I get this figured out I'll spell out "percent"
