Lufft WS10
Hi,
The release log states that support for the Lufft WS10 was added on November 10th:
"adds support for new Lufft WS10 station"
However, there is no place to configure the ip address and port once you select the station like there is in Meteohub. It seems Meteobridge assumes the WS10 is a USB only device when it actually supports tcp/ip connection.

The WS10 being bundled together with the WS600/500 & 200 on the MB station page then yes all output RS485 based on the same UMB protocol and would be a USB connection to the MB

Re: Lufft WS10
So Meteobridge does not support a tcp/ip connection to the WS10 like Meteohub does?
Re: Lufft WS10
That would be my thinking at this point, if you tick the use Internal RF receiver then all Lufft models are crossed out. Boris would be the man to confirm this.doubleohwhatever wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 4:37 amSo Meteobridge does not support a tcp/ip connection to the WS10 like Meteohub does?

Gotcha. Thanks for the replies.
I also just noticed that meteobridge does not support the "precipitation type" channel that the Lufft stations offer. So it looks like I may need to switch to Meteohub. I just wish meteohub supported the homeweatherstation template.

The WeatherDisplay version of weather34 PWS, will be supported by me at January 1th 2019. That version uses clientraw.txt for the live-data. You can easily use that version if you let your Meteohub upload a standard clientraw.txt file.
Regarding Luft WS10.
I will receive my WS10 at December 22. It will be connected to a Meteobridge by TCP/IP Wifi and Boris will find some time to check the inner workings by remote support. I am sure that he will get all working shortly thereafter. As he did this many times succesfully in the past.

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that Boris is planning on looking into it. If needed, my MB Pro can be used for testing as well.
I was going to give meteohub a try but it seems it is not compatible with the raspberry pi 3B+ yet (and that's all I have on hand).

Re: Lufft WS10
Lufft WS10 is supported. Does someone really need the precipitation type? I more thought of that being a gimmick...

Re: Lufft WS10
It is mostly a gimmick and I can live without it.
The main reason I posted was to find out if Meteobridge could connect to a WS10 over tcp/ip instead of rs485 vis a serial adapter.

Re: Lufft WS10
Currently not, but I can have a look at it if users ask for it. All I need is a remote login to a Meteobridge in the same LAN as the IP equipped WS10 and the IP of the WS10. Starting from there, it should not be too difficult.
