MB Pro suddently stopps filling charts and exports but live data are available

Post by Bastian » Fri Jan 04, 2019 8:53 am

I have connected a WS600 from Lufft to the MB Pro. The first time everything seems to be running in goog condition but now the charts and txt exports are empty and not filled with data but live data are available.

Systemlog:

A few weeks ago i have connected a Davis Vantage 2 to the MB Pro but there was no problem. The MB Pro has the latest firmware.

After a reboot its working again but not for al long time.

What went wrong? Can anybody help me?

Best regards
Bastian

When you say the MB has the latest firmware I don't see anywhere in that log which specifically shows what the firmware version is? Jan 3 reboot would have picked up the latest firmware release, 3.9 and by your indication things appeared to change around Jan 3?

If you are running FW 3.9 then set the Version control: "stick to version 3.8" reboot and check the issues

Hello Mattk,

this morning i rolled back the mb to version 3.8 and i am waiting what happens now and give you a feedback.

Yesterday i have made a factory reset but after only a few hours the mb stopped generating and exporting the html charts and txts. The live data were available and also the live graph on the webinterface of the mb pro was up to date.

The first time the problem occurred was at the end of 2018 as i changed the sensor from davis to lufft ws600. So after the reboot at this time it must have had the 3.8 version

Best regards Bastian

Something went wrong with the mb. It has restartet by its own. What could be the reason for this behavior?

MB has not been restarted, just the logger process has been restarted as the control process has the impression that the logging process was stalled.
