Ha good I wasn't sure if I cracked it. I had a tough time trying to replicate your scenario but tried a few things in hope

I forgot to mention template is 100% verified with PHP 8.1 with no changes required to meet compatibility , I installed a localized version around 29th
November during my recovery also thinking I would have to make changes somewhere but thankfully there was no changes required. My advice to anyone dabbling in latest PHP releases in advance make sure the required PHP modules are enabled occasionally you will stumble across installs that don't always have various modules enabled.Always do a back up of your server install if possible , new PHP revision releases can unintentionally break things and send you round in circles only to find a required module was not enabled.Dont always be too quick to jump if your running server publicly sometimes your the last to know.I religiously try to keep on top of PHP releases locally only .

don't forget you can always check your hosted PHP version in the template ..

good morning Josep thanks another minor oversight of using if or if else but unfortunately i cant or wont be pushing updates till 4th January.. im sure you can live with that one for a wee bit.. heatindex sure but next year..have a good festive season and thanks for your continuous help over the years..brian

Is this a bit confusing? What do we mean by wind chill?

The term Windchill is confusing anyway, so there are several formulas for it. In general, this refers to a temperature that one experiences as a result of a combination of the low temperature in combination with, in particular, the wind.

In a formula it quickly becomes a separate concept. A temperature that reflects the human experience of heat loss.

But two different values..... I have the impression that the lower value (-5.4°) is incorrect or at least does not do justice to the term windchill.

But I could be wrong.
