Re: Upgrade meteobridge version 2.2 to 2.4 problems **solved
After the reboot yesterday, still running smoothly.
Keep my fingers crossed.
Only one checksum error so far, I've fitted my basestation with an external antenna, to avoid sensor signal loss.
I hope your problems will be solved soon!
Good luck.

no. looks good.

That's what I thought. Does the timeout error message have any particular significance? I'm curious why the logger would just periodically quit. The automatic reboot script mentioned in the other thread is one option to deal with it I guess.admin wrote:no. looks good.

When Meteobridge does not get fresh data for a couple of minutes, then it restarts the logging
process to give it a frsh try. But when you have good RF reception, this shouldn't happen at at all.
Can you change position of Meteobridge, USB cabe and WMR console a bit? May be it gets tons of
RF noise it doesn't handle too good.

Just to clarify - I'm using an Acurite bridge connected by ethernet to MeteoBridge on a 505L. The pass through data still gets out fine to Aculink and the bridge indicates good signal strength - it's just the logger that fails and doesn't restart. If I force the logger to restart (by changing one of the settings for example) then it works fine again.admin wrote:When Meteobridge does not get fresh data for a couple of minutes, then it restarts the logging

I've had a couple of logger restarts, due to the fact that an Adress is already in use.
Strange, but after logger restarted the data is sent to my website and weathernetworks just fine.
I will try to make a few changes of the console location etc.
See if that improves things.
