I would drop the API keys, delete/remove the keys then Save or preferably set current Local Dashboard Update interval to No Update, Save and then add Local Dashboard again, set update interval and Save (no API keys for the moment)

Hi Matt,

I tried what you suggested to no avail. I saved after changing update interval and removed keys. I'm at a loss for what the problem is.

Now that I'm on the local network I can mount the MB drive share. It mounted last time I was here as part of the installation process. How do I mount it again?

Thanks.

I figured out how to mount the shared volume from MB but it doesn't have a PWS directory so I'm assuming there is another volume that isn't shared that contains the HWS files.

No you won't typically see the PWS directory, I have run out of ideas now.

Not sure how much help it will be to you, but you can access the HWS files by ssh'ing into your Nano and going to the /www/PWS folder. I haven't set up a local copy yet on my Nano (really need to look into it and in particular bring it up to date with the main MB HWS...). You've sparked my curiosity with it so I'll probably take a look at it on my Nano this weekend.

When dashboard is not correctly installed, you can delete the version file via

Code: Select all

http://ip-of-your-meteobridge/cgi-bin/system.cgi?rm /tmp/mnt/PWS/version
Then do a reboot and the complete dashboard files will be reloaded from the Meteobridge server. Will take a few more minutes.

I just did that on the affected machine and it now looks to be fine.

I did as you suggested and it works!!!. Awesome. Thank you and thanks to Mattk who suggested ways to get it to work.

Thank you for solution to a dashboard that didn't want to appear (even locally). Was running out of options...

Did you try pressing the "Reset" button in the "Local Dashboard" area on "Weather Network" tab? It has been included a few versions ago.
Having done so, please reboot the NANO SD and wait a while (it will load the dashboard code from the Meteobridge server and reinstall it).

When HWS gets updated will it be included in a MB update or will we need to update it separately?

hi boris wait till end of september early october I will send you an update just need to get all the translations done and aligned and a few other minor alignments .github has become a useful tool for pushing minor changes on a regular basis .

unfortunately many users dont or are not reading the print this is primarily designed for the meteobridge NANOSD and if used with other meteobridge products like TP-LINK hubs etc it doesnt function so its 100% not suitable for anything other than NANOSD.
github reveals just how many users are trying to use it with other meteobridge products .This version does reap the benefit of using many of the NANOSD historical data methods. anyway I will email you sometime next month because there is a couple of requests from resellers of NANOSD to have the template branded but Im not sure on the legality and other boring stuff, its easy todo and doesnt change the functionality.

currently looks like this http://singaporeweather.info/?theme=dark

improvements slimmer css will be less than 100k ! , easy adapted CSS grid use , cleaner graphic appearance no blurry stuff , simple colour palette no contrasting bold colours or text , reduced languages to allow to be easily maintained and particular attention paid to not congesting too many of the modules with too much data .just takes time bit by bit each day move on to the next part..
