Tested again:

Migrated rain2!0total (old data and sensor) into rain2!1total (new data and sensor) - using overwrite.

Does not seem to work - my graph of rainfall using rain2!1total does not show the older data.

Is this because the 2 sensors start and stop at different times that don't overlap - rain2!0total ends a few weeks ago - rain2!1total begins shortly after rain2!0total ends - no overlap in dates?

Yep seems to work now - unfortunately, by using overwrite I lost the recent rain data and just got the old data. Lesson learned, don't think I can restore.

Overwrite is not expected to delete anything, just overwriting existing data. Used SQL statement also tells me that it is working this way.

That may be what happened - the old sensor contained no recent data, the new one did. So it may have overwritten the more recent data with zeros or nulls, something like that (inspection of data shows no data to display). Either way it does not display in a chart. What I was trying to do is combine the 2 sensor datasets. Where the old one ended the new would begin - I think not selecting overwrite would do that.

Update - need to look closer. Inspecting the data shows its there - not graphing though.

Thanks, the reconstruction of the database with new data inserted may not have worked. I just fixed a bug related to this.
You can fix this after the fact with "Reconstruct" button on "Database - Administration" tab.

Will give this a try. Its graphing daily data that seems to be the issue.
