(*Aurora Update File for 17th November)
* Removes NON-DAVIS nag screen .Though there is 100% NO Support for NON DAVIS(1:02pm)
* Be ethical, be polite and template will continue to work with NON DAVIS hardware(1:02pm)
* Sending socially inept emails will only prompt me to block NON DAVIS hardware again(1:02pm)
* Remember this is done for a hobby not a business or money(1:02pm)
* So please think(pause) before your send that socially inept unwarranted email..(1:02pm)
* Adds 3 notifications to forecast page rain,snow,thunderstorm (9:53am)
as above template will work with any hardware compatible with meteobridge though I will not support NON DAVIS hardware ideas and requests.
Please just be ethical , be polite I owe you nothing you owe me nothing its a free template without any obligation to use.you either like it or you dont it makes no difference to me "it is your choice" nothing else..

I will sit down and put together a request to Boris to export the yearly data directly from meteobridge in the format used in the template .This will allow new users to simply be able to use past data stored in meteobridge. Also if things go a bit Pete Tong (means wrong in English cockney slang

as Im a native Englishman contrary to many thinking Im Turkish ! ...)
This sounds like a fantastic idea Brian, I really hope Boris can do this.
Reading above it appears Iām not the only one who this went Pete Tong on!
However I realised that the Back up I had done is only of any use if you notice it straight away, in my case when I realised the error I compounded it by restoring my backup..... Hence I have a hole in my data..

sorry it went a bit Pete tong on ya
just get into the habit of doing a backup only takes a second (literally)
I will look at this in December unlikely beforehand like you and the rest of the world situation here is dire and escalating here due to the pandemic, becoming hard to focus on anything else or concentrate .My area is now deemed as a very high risk area quite unreal really as beginning of October and upto October from the start way back in March we were a deemed a safe area low risk area . My wife is now working from home until late January as some of her colleagues tested positive or a family member has tested positive over the last two weeks and each time a case arises we have to go and have a test. had another one this morning 3rd time ..With her working from home I again lose my desktop Mac

but needs must ..
So anyway I have finished off the forecast page just now .minor tweaks here and there nothing significant and most tweaks this week were about getting the metrics right for users using ms,kts or a mixture.
(*Aurora Update File for 21st November)
* Adds mouse hover highlight to wind direction chart Forecast Page(5:39pm)
* Aligns metric colors for temperature charts Forecast Page(4:56pm)
* Adds cardinal and wind bearing in tooltip for charts Forecast Page(4:29pm)
* Clean up code in tooltip for charts Forecast Page(09:20am)

The point I was trying to make...(somewhat ineloquently perhaps) was that I did have a back up before I applied the update, however it was a couple of days before I realised it had gone wrong, so that when I realised and restored the system to a date prior to the update, that the data was also gone....
However in the global scheme of things then three days missing data is a mere trifle.
So you and her keep safe!
Gary

Hi, Brian!
It's not the first time I've noticed an interesting thing. Here is a real example: on 23.11.20, the total amount of rain per day was 0.2 mm. It is November 24, and when you open the trends for the current month, picture # 2 shows the daily precipitation figure for 23.11.20 after 00: 00. And always exactly until 01: 00. In fact, there is no rain, the figure completely coincides with the total precipitation for the past day. The same number is not included in the monthly statistics for the current day.

good afternoon
I have seen this only once before that was a anomaly in meteobridge clock by a matter of minutes I recall we just adjusted the Lat Lon by a few minutes . if you look at your csv for 24 November you will see you an hour behind so perhaps something related to recent shift of clock by an hour it might be worth checking files prior to when clocks were due to change ??
.remember this data comes from meteobridge. I emphasize once again the template only reads and stores it does not control the output of meteobridge data it receives.
your data sent from meteobridge ..so at midnight for the next hour it was sending previous days total rain

I checked the script it is using the correct [rain0total-daysum:--] not [rain0total-sum24h] so the correct string is being used for the chart for current day and has been for years .so have a look at anything related to time in meteobridge settings thats all I can think of..

H Brian,
Just my personal opinion and I'm sure I might get shouted down by many others........ but I 'm not keen on the bouncing balls on the forecast page.
Could they be optional ?
Sorry....

finally finalized the forecast page this morning 26th November.
the top right chart changes according to what if scenario
if thunderstorm present in forecast it will display the thunderstorm scale from 1-5 (which i think is intensity)
if snow present in the forecast it will display the snow accumulation value chart
if snow or thunderstorm not present it revert to UVINDEX forecast chart.
as per screenshot.

Looks great Brian,
Can I just ask what happens if in the period of the forecast what happens if snow and thunderstorms are in it?
