Weather34 Meteobridge Master Template Download

No, of course I don't want multiple screens to open at the same time. what I notice on my iMac is that if I choose layout 6 (others I have not tried) then a different layout appears blinking below. that doesn't seem right to me. On iPhone it works well.

As for the update, I downloaded it as usual. by default my settings say not to open downloaded files. So I uploaded the zip and installed it via the simple update. That didn't work. Hence my workaround. by uploading all files from the now unpacked zip to the server.

I'm sorry I apparently didn't explain it well in my first post.

the blinking is caused by not updating the settings options for layout 6 there still blank in your setup file.

should resemble screenshot below ..

Mac OS 99% of the time sets the default file permissions on zipped files after downloading ..

A rookie that what I seem to be. The last update I installed was in April. I try to stay up-to-date but that doesn't always work. The pace at which you add things and make it more beautiful is so heigh that before you know, everything is blinking. Precisely if one is not paying attention. Thanks Brian you are great.

we are all rookies we never stop learning, adapting..I do try these days to stagger the updates to significant changes.

teaser for late July ,early august a work in progress with a twist (surprise) basically slide or tap on each module to open almanac data and chart !

Hello and thanks for the template! it looks awesome. that said I am noob and don't know what I'm doing or how to set this up really. Is there an instruction on how to set this up. I have Meteobridge (tp-link) setup to upload to wundergrond and ambient weather. But I don't know how to configure meteobridge or where to put the PHP files.

I am really technical and I know how to manage the web server. But I'd appreciate any guide on this if possible

On page 1 of this thread are two links 1) the master download file and 2) the latest update file.

Download and unzip each of those in turn to a directory on your website. Included in the zip is a PDF on how to setup the Weather34 template and use Meteobridge to upload you data to the template. There will be four things to do. 1) Setup Weather34 as a new weather service as you have for WU & Ambient, 2) Setup a 10-min chart update job, 3) Setup a daily chart update job, 4) setup a CRON task for other data refreshes. All these are detailed in the PDF

I got the trial for meteobridge running on my pi4 and i really liked it so after some searching the internet for weather templates i come across this.

I was running pwsWD before but i never really liked it fully.. i guess each to their own. I hope the dev's keep developing and releasing updates for weather34.

firstly sorry for lack of updates and responding to emails etc for the last couple of months ..Unfortunately this summer has been brutal(hot) here only now after some 6 weeks we have some cooler weather for a short period expecting to return to another blast of horrendous heat next week. Whilst the heat here is probably not news worthy due to no severe fire outbreaks but I can say its been brutal at times often 30c + at midnight and wake up to 25c by midday closing in on 40c try that for a few weeks your mental health will deteriorate .today is the first day since mid June our Air conditioning unit has been off !!

I will begin doing stuff around second week of September and be more responsive for a few weeks after that.

PWSWD was originally a weather34 version I handed it over to Wim has he kindly offered to maintain a WD version but he renege on that and caused lots confusion and inconvenience releasing a multiple software support version,low res graphics and chaotic layout and basically from what I saw in the code was just a lot code to maintain going forward so I always wanted to streamline support overheads by keeping things simple and manageable ,subsequently I requested removal of the phrase weather34 from his versions has I did not want to be associated with it and deal with endless emails ... but everyone has preferences to what they like to use so its good for the community as these days there is not much on offer or innovative coming through from home enthusiasts . I see a few good templates but they come at premium or features requiring payment..

hopefully some fresh innovative modern ideas are out there amongst the community its good for everyone ...brian

I make a new server installation of the Aurora MKII template(not the link on signature). Download the master template from the first entry of this topic + the SIMPLE-UPDATE-WEATHER34-June2023-R5.

I am surprised that the error I described with the overlaps is present again.

This error was fixed with the simple-update-2022.zip (add many z-index:1 in chartforecast.php).

Why is this fix and perhaps other bug fixes lost?

Hi TOTO proably me just not concentrating or just me forgetting,
to apply/edit a z-index in multiple files can be done quite quickly and simply using VISUAL STUDIO CODE https://code.visualstudio.com

It simply allows you too apply edits multiple files in a second so Ill update the files and mid september a simple update will come out with another additional screen layout .. there are some other minor fixes but nothing significant. sorry for the inconvenience..brian
