I've installed the latest Master, and "SIMPLE-UPDATE-WEATHER34-June2023-R5" but PurpleAir still does not appear to be updating. Their site also shows no API key hits. So far everything else seems to work.

Ok, so I figured out that I had installed the simple update wrong, I did it via manually extracting and pasting over the files, so I decided to do it the right way. So I cleared the pws directory, updated PHP to the latest from 7.4.x to 8.2.8. copied in the master, then installed the latest simple zip using the installer.. For the main page it presents a blank screen. I then went to the console-setup.php page which renders fine and configured everything, saved, rebooted the Pi, still presents a blank page after rebooting.

I'm assuming I am missing some PHP module

On a good note, I just found the Weather34 Aurora MKII Meteobridge Setup Guide.pdf file :) So that question is answered.

Oh interesting, so far it looks like PHP is running fine, but something about 8.2.8 does not get along with the layout.php pages. probably safest to roll back to 8.2.6. But I'll leave it on 8.2.8 for now to see if anyone has any cleaver ideas.
This may be useful;

Update:
I decided to take it back to scratch, a clean install of Debian Bullseye x64 for the raspberry pi. I updated and configured the default PHP on it (7.4.33), and made sure to add Zip this time. I then installed the latest Master from the first page of this forum. For some reason the Weather34 console looks garbled on PC web browser, but looks fine on tablets and phones. I then used the updater to update to the 2022 simple update that ToTo posted the other day (as an incremental until the Sept update is published to solve bugs in the June2023-R5) , then the Jun2023-R5 simple update.
After that I installed PHP8.2.8 along side PHP7.4.33, and set "update-alternatives --config php" to 0 auto.
Once PHP8.2.8 was installed The PurpleAir module started working, tablets and phones look great things appear to be working fine... But PC web browsers are still garbled.

Not sure what I'm missing now.

Wait, looks like it may have been some weird browser caching issue affecting multiple browsers on my system.
Things are looking good.

Lol, original question was identifying the location of the setup guides since the ones originally posted to the Weather34 site are long gone now. Which then became, anyone have an idea why it would not function with PHP8.2.8 (blank pages).
Hopefully it helps others that may be redeploying their weather stations with a clean install in the near future.

My weather34 setup has been mostly untouched (and running fine) since the time when Brian stepped away from his active role on the project. I recently needed to rebuild mine and happened across this forum. I'm very happy that there is some enthusiast support for this project. I like it and really do not want to move to a different one unless I have to.

I'll understand if my entries are basically clutter for this forum and need to be groomed by a mod.

Hi guys,
I have some problems with the Weather34 admin panel, I updated to the latest version available and I have Php 8.2.8, practically you can't see the images of the layouts, and you can't see the part where the GDPR is, I've also attached pictures.
What could it be due to?

For the rest the dashboard seems to work ok.

PHP 8.3, the active development branch, is currently the target for new RFCs (Request for Comments). It is scheduled to be released towards the end of 2023.

PHP has continually evolved to meet the demands of web development. From its origins as Personal Home Page (PHP) to the latest release of PHP 8.2, the language has significantly improved features, performance, and usability.

These advancements have solidified PHP’s position as a top choice for web development, enabling developers to create robust and efficient applications."

I'm checking on the server side if there is cache, while on the browser side any use gives me the same bug.

How do I understand if there are any php modules not set?

A thousand thanks
